A lovely breath of fresh air; this is the only game thats ever asked me to sit and wait on the train for the whole trip and actualy punishes you for trying to fast travel rather than enjoying the journey. Funny, well written, beautiful art, a lot of love has been poured into this game and it shows.

I have a lot I want to gush about with this game, genuinely a really fun experience that blends interesting and unique JRPG mechanics with life sim levels of immersion, love the characters and love the story, but a bug to be wary of that I personally found irritating; When loading a game, continue doesnt work, so hit new game, then pause once you start playing, and load a save file. I have probably seen the intro cutscene 30 times. I dont have much negative to say about this game however, it was really fun and refreshing. I wish the story focused more on the darker side of things, there's this moment right after the demo ends where you go on a mission and the feeling of that mission was the peak of the game I think and I wish the game stuck to that theme, but it didnt and it instead goes backwards back into a comfy cozy feel to play. Which is alright, just not for me personally. 8.5/10 game, and I would love to see more, but dont feel much desire to replay it. Its a very short game and if I didnt spend so much time grinding everything I probably would've beaten it in 10 hours, so get it on sale for a fun 10 hour experience. I dont know what stuck out to me about this game that made me want it so bad, I guess I just have an eye for gems like this, I would definitely recommend. Just be patient with the game and understand the character you play as is flawed because she's perfect, which is the best way I have to excuse her writing at times, its not that she's a mary sue, she's just too sweet for her own good. I really wish I could say more about this game, but I cant. Simply put, it was very fun, very refreshing, and very relaxing.
