Leggi l'articolo completo su La Tana Del Cobra - tanadelcobra.com!

Voto: 6
This game is a fun and unique blend of tower defense and first person shooter. There are some things that I either don't like or just need to get better at, but the developer seems very receptive to player feedback and offering options to play the game the way that you find most enjoyable. The only thing I could really ask for is more of what they're already doing. Compared to the first game, there is more of an emphasis on base building. You aren't forced to play in first person mode and switch seemlessly to top-down view for building. There is a new tech screen, so turret don't need to be upgraded individually (although generators can be). Compared to other tower defense games, your turrets are both sword and shield, so placement is less about maximizing firing arcs and more about concentrating fire at certain natural chokepoints in the terrain while minimizing exposure to enemy fire. It can be challenging and frustrating at times, but I think that's mostly down to the learning curve.

Artificial Extinction 2 is a game I've been waiting for since I took a chance on and enjoyed the first game back in 2024. The second game was worth the wait. This FPS and tower defense hybrid is a great addition to any library. The game is difficult and challenging, and the story is a nice continuation of the first game without requiring you to beat it to understand what's going on. Once you beat the campaign, there is still tons left to do, such as Tower Defense Mode, FPS Mode, and Nightmare Challenge Mode. The game is still actively being updated, and bonus levels are still being created. At the time of this review, I've spent about 10 hours playing through the campaign and the extra bonus mission, and I still have to dive into those challenges. If you come across this game in your recommended list, I'd say it is well worth buying. It's a great game.
Highly engaging, alot of fun. Its like infinity siege, if you could pilot additional RTS units, besides the singular player unit, and also massively limited in what you can build and collect on the field. Outside of that, it is alot of fun, very engaging, and its incredibly easy to forget the loss of time. Personally want faster build times, cool that dev listens, but i prefer heavy automation, and fielded support in any RTS game i play. Some things i'd like to see, additional expanded builder drone, additional repair drone, additional drone that collects dropped resources on the field, player supported drone that follows player to assist in combat. Ability to print out more 'player' units as RTS soldiers with limited AI when in overview/command mode (for better RTS strategy) still consuming resources BUT with a cost (vs your unit). When player unit dies, you take over the nearest unit (or are brought to the command menu to quickly cycle to the unit you want). Also needs additional player unit upgrades (individual unit upgrades not just weapons, but shield generator for the player unit, additional health regeneration or repair at the bunker/base station) of some sort, some kind of healing/repair mechanic for the player RTS printed drones. The additional replay value and game modes are great, but what im suggesting also significantly improves its already fun gameplay, with overwhelmingly more. Especially when revamping the dropped resources to be a rapid paced salvage operation if possible. That said its alot of fun. But the massively dragged out map gameplay modes is incredibly painful. Needs a fast forward function as well. Display issues galore when playing on laptop and using other screens and projectors. Had to put the game in windowed mode, for all the GUI to properly show in the upgrade menu, overworld/build menu, and while playing as the trooper. Was driving me mad till i just left the game in windowed mode. This is NOT something any user should need to put up with to get it graphically sorted. Thats a very bad thing, but once you get past these little quirks its a gem of a game.
Very cool, very chill, fun and great music. I know the dev is bringing a mech in the will fight with you or you can hop in and control which is awesome BUT it would be really cool to throw down a barracks and have grounds troops for you to spawn or create, unless i am just not that far in yet and have not unlock them lol. I cant wait to see the future for this game !
FPS+RTS,挺新鲜的,玩起来既有代入感也不会无聊。
很好的游戏,就是飞机太阴了,打炮成本那么高,飞机又肉又多,打小飞机大部分导弹都被浪费了
A hearty recommendation from me. For full transparency, I've been a playtester for AE2 for a long while now and have enjoyed every minute of it. I got into the original AE years back and enjoyed its fun change for the tower defense genre by adding free-form tower placement and FPS action. AE2 takes it even further. Now there's more terrain to deal with, more enemy types to overcome, more types of turrets to work with, and more resource management to handle. Tech improvements keep things going changing, and the enemies can and will push your limits. By design, this game isn't meant to be super easy. It's not designed to make you throw your computer out a window, it's not Dark Souls after all. But it still aims to present a real challenge to the player. The dev has been great to work with. Responsive, dedicated and hard working, and willing to try out some different things. There's a definite goal in mind, a vision being worked on, but player feedback both before and after launch has been and continues to be taken seriously. Changes have been made to help adapt to player needs while not turning the game into a no-challenge-zone. I highly respect that. And with how active the dev is over on discord, there's plenty of opportunity for live feedback and discussion (pop on in and say hi). While yes it does still have some rough edges, it's still being worked on and the structure is well built. It's fun to play and it does reward strategic thinking, not just run-and-gun action. Give the demo a spin if you're unsure, but I hope you'll find it to your liking! (and yes, while I did receive a free copy, I also purchased one both to support the dev and because I just like the game that much that I think it deserved my purchase)
Хорошая игра но добавить бы сюда DLSS было бы чудесно
Selten so kurzweiligen Spaß gehabt.
