Rage Of Towers

I have played the early access Beta version of this game and I have to say with all honesty Its one the best Tower Defense Games I've ever played! Experience of a modern combat with high technologies and being able to control the towers and manually annihilating various enemies are ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS!!

"Rage of Towers" is okay, but not the best. It is a very simple game. The makers of the game may have spent more effort on complex graphics, rather than a complex, and hence more interesting game. It has one nice innovation, because of which I am giving it a "yes" recommendation. That is, you can control any gun-turret type tower manually and pick off your enemies with it. That gives you better control and some strategy; otherwise, it is banal. It is also quite inexpensive, so trying it doesn't take much of an investment. I generally do not play "early access" games. The idea of testing games on paying customers does not sit well with me. The best games I have played were not early access. The other problem is that the game can stay early access for a long time, so you never know when it is done. By the time it comes out of it, you have moved on having paid to improve it. But, this game would have to go through a very major enhancement before it can be attractive to me. (5.1/10 rating: 5+ = "yes", 5- = "no"). I suggest that Steam revise their policy on "Early Access". Half price while in early access. Final version release in 1 year.

[h2] This game is worth buying. [/h2] A pretty unique tower defense game that allows you to control your towers. It has eye catching graphics and looks like the developers of this game put lots of effort into it. First, it was easy to beat the levels, but when the enemy choppers came to attack my towers, I realized I should have taken the game more seriously. Overall, with the related price tag, it's worth buying, especially when it's on a discount and you missed playing tower defense games.

This game is a pure gem in a mix of RTS/FPS tower defense game. I hope it gets finished someday.

Great game for what it is and for the price. I like it. [h3]Things that must change[/h3] -have some description and/or obvious name (example like artillery/antitank tower) on what is what AND say what the ability thing is in lower right corner sometimes -shock? satellite? tower is worthless as far as I can tell -should let it show the upgraded numbers even if you can't afford it -the MG tower is clearly the supposed basic all rounder but it seems to damn ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for it... not sure where to place it but needs some balancing -list wave number amount [b]The most important and interesting part![/b] [u]the tower take over[/u] needs more... As it is now it is laughably pointless to control the MG or autocannon towers cause of the hard range limit. As is now it is pretty much just tank tower and upgrade that. The best thing is you can shoot air with otherwise ground only target weapon. Can also shoot much farther with it so there is solid reason to control it. Have the MG and autocannon tower mayhaps also have no range limit when control BUT implement like half damage outside it's firing range cause I can see how the autocannon without range limit would be to much, too strong otherwise EDIT: Lastly game does however at time of this review become rather ♥♥♥♥♥♥ at a point cause just there seems no damn way to proceed. Can't pause, slow or speed up and most importantly the HP scales to quickly and income does not scale anywhere close to be able to afford to actually win. Also dev-san the achievements don't work. I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about it but some do care about nonsense like achievements
