There is no breeding, so it's kid friendly! It is a very fun game, pretty straight forward and easy to learn the basics, but it will get more complex as you go. Difficulty options range from chill to FML, so there is definitely a difficulty that is just right for you.
I wanted to play a special tower defense-inspired game, but this one is just not accessible at all. If you can’t even get through the tutorial in a game, that says it all. It seems pretty cool, but I think it will just get endlessly complicated later on, and you’ll end up managing too much. Since I couldn’t complete the tutorial, I uninstalled it and gave up.
i dont know if it is the timing, or how badly explained everything is but i did not enjoy the game, there are artificial limits everywhere, like in how many rooms you may have of certain type and how much resources you may get per time. and atacks become harder and harder. feels like there is a one good strategy and all other ones are discouraged. the game is playable, but it wasnt entretaining
I had great fun playing this game! I like the art style and the progression system - theres about 10 ranks and on each rank up you specialise in something to make a super mage by the time they get to 10th level. There is a little bit of production chain mechanic to wrap your head around but its more about queue/bandwidth management that logistics as there is no motion between storage and work centre. The combat had me guessing a bit as combination of traps are key but there's no advice, i had to dip into my knowledge of other games/systems to figure it out. Thats probably accurate of the whole game to be honest, there was a lot of trial and error as the tutorial really doesn't teach you much and there is little in the way of tool tips. If you like that type of problem solving this game is for you. There was a couple of downsides in this game, neither of which are a turn off, but: 1) There so much clicking and sorting, I spent more than half my time in this game paused while I sort, filter, and name things. More automation mechanics would be awesome. 2) The art to winning this game is planning and learning the mechanics, rather than strategy and so there's no replayability in it - i.e. nothing for me to try differently. 30 hours and I'm done but they were very enjoyable 30 hours!
Nice game
I really enjoyed the game! It scratched an itch for a game with mages and management. The dev is very active and is still making upgrades, QOL fixes and squashes bugs on a weekly schedule to this day. Stand up guy.
