A couple of things with this game. When you first start playing you will win just about every game--to entice you. Then the three of kind or two pair of the same color will show up--statistically unbeatable. Then your games played vs win will drop dramatically. And it does this consistently. Apparently, the devs thought this to be a viable option to make the game more difficult--no matter what level you chose to play at. Also, a lot of the time it will throw low cards at the start (like the two and three of diamonds. Then the aces that show up will be anything but diamonds. These are all programmed and calculated in the game by the devs. I have played this game for 21 hours and this is what I find. Also, if you chose not to play a game because it doesn't look good to you (such as three of kind or two pairs or whatever show up), it still counts as a game played. BS!!!!
It does have a ton of solitaire variants but my problem is not the quantity but the quality...or lack thereof. My current favorite solitaire game is Spider. So I played a game of spider. The graphics are old looking, maybe they are trying for a retro feel, I dunno. And when I completed a stack, instead of gradually going away it just zip! disappeared. It was not fun to play the game like that with stacks just instantly gone. I checked settings and didn't see any way to change it. I tried a few other games and realized that I don't care how many games are in this game if they are no fun to play. So I refunded it. Buyer beware.
Does not have the one feature that is critical for me...it does not give you the option to "deal a winnable hand". This does not mean you will win. It just means you have a chance to win if you play the cards right. This is important as this is a casual game, not a serious strategic game. I want to play this to have fun. And it is not fun to play any game where your odds of winning are extremely low if you just want a fun casual game experience. If they add a "deal a winnable hand" option I will change my review to recommended.
Do you like playing games alone? Do you have too much time on your hands? Well, boy let me tell you about this game. The solitaire pack is MASSIVE, and they aren't lying about 150+ games. The instructions are easily accessible for every game, so I can learn how to play and then promptly forget when I change games. There is definitely room for improvement: - More card animations - Timer in game (does tell you once you complete a game) - An alert when a game has no more moves - The controls/ buttons are a little clunky Overall, worth the cost. When I grow old, there will definitely be jealousy around my sick card skills and knowledge.
150 games only a few worth playing. Most games you have to restart over and over because they are unwinnable without a good deal and you can recognize it from the start. Games ratings of high or low average win rate are not true. Most games won't place cards. The list goes on. There is a favorite list, What is badly needed is Garbage game list so you don't need to consider it. Most of the card games you would expect are not in this group of 150 it is mostly games you have never heard of before.
I really enjoy playing card games. I learned many variations of solitaire growing up. I didn't realize how many more there were. Sometimes, I'll load a game and teach myself how to play with a deck of cards on my table. If you like solitaire, this is a must buy.
Very good collection of solitaire games and I am playing on the steam deck with no issues , nice interface and very enjoyable the only thing I wish they would add is when you are out of moves it would tell you other than that I have no complaints , also they just updated and added 5 more games and said to let them know if we had any requests which is nice to see they still care about the game . I would recommend this game to anyone who loves card games .
I play to relax and these games are so hard. I never win any of them. Not fun unless you want extreme challenge.
Love it, played 100's of hours on Android. $11 is a bit steep, but if you like Solitaire this is the next best thing to PySol
It never gets boring. Even the games that are a little more difficult are fun to play because eventually, they can be won!
