Bad to Good, TLDR at the bottom. Bad: Almost no customization; only three hand weapons, and two shoulder launchers. There is some armor customization in the main menu. Campaign missions can get tedious; when an enemy capture a control point they can summon a low tier unit that can also capture other control points. This can lead to a chain reaction where you need to recapture half the map. AI is dumb; enemy units without an active target will always attack the closest thing to them unless the objective is closer. They cannot build or rebuild base structures meaning once you blow them up they're gone for good. Almost no replayablity; while it has a decent campaign and side missions, they are variation of similar ideas with almost no distinction besides the map itself. Subjective: Three Difficulties Minimal obvious story that does exist in menus and npcs. Mobility; while you have a dash, it is limited due to it being a resource replenished at specific buildings. Your base speed can be increased in exchange for armor in the customization menu. Good: Optional Tutorial that actually shows the gameplay loop, by throwing you into small maps to figure things out past the basics. Fun for a few hours; the gameplay loop is entertaining and doesn't need much improvement. Customization can matter; with a modifiable mech and a swappable armor passive you can make your mech work for you. An excellent price: for five dollars it is a great example of a base gameplay loop. If more content is added (multiplayer, more campaign) I think it would make sense to increase the price up to ten dollars. TLDR; Great for five dollars, decent gamplay, little replayablility.
Very weird controls, I kept running into invisible barriers but there was no explanation. My controller kept moving the the shooting cross-hairs around even when I turned the sensitivity way down. And the tutorial? What tutorial? What a waste of my 10 minutes.

This game has potential but it's really short and lacks any level of polish. It feels like a well done but incomplete capstone or senior project for a university student that was looking to get into the gaming industry, and then abruptly the game was abandoned when the developer got hired on by some studio. Gameplay: Satisfying for a half hour before it becomes a slog. It looks like it never really gets better than to point and click at infinitely spawning robots. One particular sore spot is the weapon upgrade and customization options. You can find weapons in the field (which is rare) and it instantly replaces your existing weapon, even if it's a huge downgrade - and you can't swap weapons manually in any other way other than to buy a specific weapon all over again after a mission is finished. This means your upgraded plasma cannon can be instantly swapped out for a trash item if you get too close to one that drops in a mission. Weapons are NOT unlocked permanently nor are the upgrades - super frustrating. The AI is zombie mode, nothing more to say about that. Graphics: it's not awful but it would feel much more at home on the XBox 360 Arcade than on the PC or even the Switch. I do enjoy the style, it looks like classic Syndicate with updated textures. Unfortunately very little in the environment is destructible, or so it would seem. Audio: Music is "fine" albeit really short since there's not a lot to the game. Lots of audio samples ripped from other IPs (Star Wars, Terminator). I got this on sale for $3, that's fantastic. Definitely worth the half hour I spent pew-pewing robots before getting bored and seeing it was only more of the same. At the normal price I think this is a hard pass. It's a shame because with a more cogent weapon purchase / upgrade system and some better base building and/or AI this would have been worth at least the full price the developer is asking for.
Abysmal controls, janky turret placements and repetitive and unenjoyable missions
