About
You are Ka-Hool, a ghost, that remembers nothing but their name. Awaken in a cave, your goal is to look for your past, to look for your identity. Throughout this adventure, you’ll rediscover your own abilities, stroll through the remains of an ancient world, and continue your journey for memory.

Remains of a mysterious civilisation lay ahead. Who were they? How did they disappear? Your quest for memory will cross a quest for history.

Ka-Hool is nothing of an ordinary ghost: take control of the beasts that creep in the shadows to progress in your adventure. Each creature has unique abilities, use them wisely! Yet beware, the depths have their own ecosystem, and not all creatures can be fooled.

Travelling through the world will take you to different sublime sceneries, and your quest for knowledge will be shaped by challenges and fragments of the past.

This world is beautiful but filled with radiant dangers. In your spectral form, the light is your greatest foe, and you must avoid it at all costs. Choose your path wisely, or risk a shining demise.
Experienced on the Meta Quest 2
You can view my gameplay & early impressions here: https://youtu.be/r2V8Jje-GxQ I did enjoy this game. I would say it's a walking simulator / exploration game. You explore this very magical cave system and basically possess different creatures in order to solve the environmental puzzles. For example, you'll possess an Axolotl in order to swim underwater and get through a crack to progress through the game. However, I did find the game to lack guidance on what to do. So there definitely was some frustration on my part on figuring out what I had to do next. I didn't even realize you could possess animals or how to do it, until I read through several posts by the devs on the Steam store page. The game needs better guidance to avoid frustration. I also experienced some bugs. I got stuck in the terrain twice. I was able to get around that by going to the menu and coming back. The mini-game to possess is very inconsistent. I have no idea why I can't pick up a cube that you can pick up in another location. I was also semi-trapped in this death loop where I was close to the water which kills you, next to the sunlight, with a frog patrolling that kills you. So there's just some jank and lots of stuff that is left unexplained in-game. Game is running on the Unreal Engine. I did have some dropped frame rates, but nothing too bad on high graphical settings on my RTX 3080. You do have full locomotion & teleportation available, along with smooth or snap turning. You can play comfortably seated. Rate ?/10. I didn't get far enough in the game to score it accurately, but I do give it a tepid recommendation if you're a patient gamer.
Please note: I received a free Steam key through the Steam Curator Connect program. Arise from Shadows is a paid VR walking exploration game. It worked on my Index and HTC Vive system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok, was understandable. Has a tutorial and teaches the rules as you go, but there are puzzles that you have to figure out on your own. Was confusing where to go and how to get there sometimes. The voice overs are in French or English but you have English subtitles that ok. Has 15 steam achievements. Maybe buy this game, if you like other VR walking exploration games. I got a free key for this from the Steam Curator program. ViVE VR curator group
BEAUTIFUL MYSTERIOUS WORLD Played with the Vive Pro 2 and the Quest 2. Played great with both headsets but I prefer the Quest because the controllers were easy to learn. Small learning curve to the controller but there is help along the way. There is a big mystery here and a whole lot to explore. Take your time, experiment with different objects and just explore. There is some unique creatures you will find and some you can interact with. Be careful with some, There is dangers to avoid so be careful. You will gain some powers along the way. Music is beautiful as well. Make your adjustments before you start the game and you can save your place in the game. What best describes this adventure is, Beautiful, Mysterious, Puzzle to be solved about what happened here. Unique creatures as well. I love everything about this adventure. Thank you
Broken Valve Index
] Looks amazing. Seriously. This dev's skills, mixed with a fun idea, would be a winner. But it seems to not work with Valve Index. I can't "dash". So I can't cross the river. So after 5 minutes, there's nothing to do. It also seems like the game is lacking clear objective/direction. The online review I watched, said he spent hours playing, and still wasn't sure what to do. If anyone has questions, or finds a Index fix, stop be our group and say hi. 🔥►Meet people playing now (in group CHAT link below) 🏆►VR Giveaways and CHAT 🏆 https://steamcommunity.com/groups/JoinUsInVR DEAR DEV: Send me a private message if you want some game-testers to help make this game work and fun.
