It's a great idea, and if you like to play ARGs you will feel right at home. Beware however that you will need a walkthrough at times, since not everything is still available online. I got stuck on multiple occasions, and some things are sort of cheesy, but there are some genuinely clever "woah moments" to be had.

I actually enjoyed the sort of "sequel" to this game quite a bit. This game, not so much. Although I've seen this sort of intertwined game and real world idea before, it's still a great concept. The puzzles though are either too hald-holdy, or just straight up lie what the solution is. You're also not given enough time to explore the game, you're given orders of where to go and what to do, it feels very constricting. The fact that there's actually very little story here doesn't help. First time playthrough: 2 hour 42 minutes (2 of those hours were wasted on Google Earth) 5/10
This Looks Like From Windows 95 to 2000 Or ME The sounds are good from a old computer, making that new PCs have noise when are silent. 10/10
A good puzzle horror game. It's light on the scares but it really suckers you into the world, and makes your interactions with the other person on this creepy OS via the messenger app seem very real. As you progress through the story the game has you solving a variety of puzzles through analysis of in-game files and applications and search engines, as well as interactions on the real web from outside the game. Everything from emailing people and getting (automated) responses, trying to track down coordinates on google maps, to looking up URLs to download rar files, cracking their password using in-game clues, and then listening to the audio files within to allow further progress in-game. It's constantly changing things up and doesn't let you get bored, and slowly drip feeds you the story as you go which ends up being not all that bad at all. It is in bad need of some quality of life fixes, like being able to move the windows you open up around on the OS, or quickly find your way back to previous files. But those nitpicks aside, it's a great 2 hour creepy experience for a criminally low price. Recommended!
enjoyed the game but uh- how the hell do i play it again?
SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS! I enjoy games like this where its haunted operating systems and whatnot games like kinito or 98xx. the thing is that this game is barely a horror game. this game has at most 3 scares and thats not even getting to the extremely underwhelming plot. a computer virus that makes you kill yourself just isnt interesting. some of the story beats seem like they were gonna be cool but then its always just reading and reading and reading. not to mention the autopsy photo. its never able to grip the player cause it never seems to try and the abysmal pacing dosent help. i spent most of the game waiting for the narrator to respond in the chatbox that or trying to figure out the very confusing puzzles involving links (that you cant copy. twice) or trying to listen to audio files i had to download that are nearly completely un-intelligible to what has got to be the worst puzzle ive seen in a game ever. the longitude latitude puzzle. you have to go to google maps and get the position of ONE EXACT POINT. you will not want a walk through you will NEED ONE. if you dont work with the fbi and know how to crack the zodiac killers letters you will be infinetly lost in this 1 hour slog. it made 40 minutes feel like 40 days. not even worth the 2 dollars that were stolen away from me when i was mind controlled into thinking this would be a good game. id recommend using that 2 dollars to buy a knife from dollar tree and plunge it into your leg because then you'll already be feeling more than this game will make you feel. there is so little in this game that without the waiting you could prob beat this entire game in 15 minutes. there is ONE redeeming qua;ity about this game and that is that it can be refunded after you beat it cause the game can be beat in less than 1 hour long. dont waste your time and buy a gumball with that pocket change
very good game for like 3$ it thinks out side of the box 10/10 would recomend play with friends
