Arcade Party

Had a lot of potential to be a good arcade party game, especially one that supports online co-op, but it just falls really short on a lot of things: - the lack of instruction on most games, even when you're in practice mode - the lack of ways to get extra hearts - there's no way for you to turn down certain in-game sounds, so you're either forced to mute the whole game in the colume mixer, or you just sit there and get earblasted with a loud beep sound every few minutes in party mode - there's barely enough time to do anything - the lackluster unlockable items that you really have to grind for. like wdym it costs 1000g to dye or change your hair? - the camera thing is HORRENDOUS. why must i spam-click B just to get the camera to follow me instead of it being automatic? - the mushland game is also disappointing on all levels Overall: really imbalanced game, def DO NOT RECOMMEND. You have better luck downloading an emulator on PC for the Mario Party games.

This is a fun party game that has a variety of mini-games. You play cooperatively with a group of friends while being competitive at the same time.

I really like this game. Each of the mini games are easy to learn to play and a great game for casual playing with friends. The only draw back is the skipping feature as it doesn't actually skip anything and a lot of time is wasted. I feel that right now the game is given a 3/5 right now. If the skip feature actually becomes a skip feature I would rate it 4/5

I can not recommend the game with the balance that is present right now. A forum post adressing and asking about the issues was completely ignored. [h1]Pros:[/h1] + the overall concept is great, you compete against other players, but also dont want them to lose in the end, because the group then loses 1 life. Everybody has to make the end goal at least. Its pretty fun. Although it is competetive, you still have a sense of coop + a majority of the games is easily playable and understandable right from the start [h1]Cons:[/h1] - the unlocks werent motivating, at least not for me - the balance of most puzzle games is horrible and makes me not recommend it therefore. There is a slider puzzle eg. that needs to be solved in a short time frame, yet nobody in our group to this day, could solve it once! It sucks out the fun out of everyone and only makes you lose lifes - same goes for games, that you pretty much have little to no control over - the fishing game can make a fish harder to catch randomly, which makes it impossible to finish the challenge in time, or how about the Breakout game.....if you have ever played Breakout, you know its difficult to hit that last brick, imagine that in 45 seconds..... - on higher difficulties the problems described with the puzzle games are multiplied by a lot Me and my group were initially having fun, until we got wiped by a slider puzzle that is impossible to solve. This alone made us not want to come back to this game.
