I had a great time with Aragami 2. It's a clear improvement over the first game in several ways. At first, I wasn't sold on the new movement system since it felt pretty different from the shadow teleportation of the original. But after playing for a while, it really clicked. The movement has a much better flow, making stealth, positioning, and chaining ninja-style assassinations feel smoother and more natural. That said, I really appreciate that the game still lets you play in a way that's closer to the original if you prefer the old shadow-focused approach. It's a nice option to have and makes the transition easier for returning players. The skill tree and customization are also a big upgrade. There are plenty of abilities and builds to experiment with, so you can tailor your playstyle instead of everyone playing the same way. In sum, I think Aragami 2 takes what made the first game fun and expands on it in meaningful ways. Definitely worth playing if you enjoyed the original.
While I enjoy Aragami 2, the lack of shadow mechanics from the first game are kind of a let down. Aragami 2 is very ambitious compared to the first game, however I think the first one's charm is much more appealing. There are still some exciting stealth assassin mechanics here, but Aragami 1 was such a beautiful experience. That being said, Aragami 2 is a fun expansion to the first. I haven't tried multiplayer sadly but I imagine that would make this one truly shine. A good deal at full price, a much more compelling deal when on sale.
the game is very gooooooooooooooooooooooood
Very fun stealth game and very goofy shenanigans with friends. though there are some glitches with falling through the floor but it'll teleport you back up immediately so its fine. Over all would recommend.
Meh
good game
If Assassin's Creed (the good ones, at least), Hitman and Sekiro had a baby, this would be it. Later in the game it gets more monotonous where missions just have tons and tons of guards and you have to sequentially take them out slowly to get to targets/objectives but if you can look passed that you've got yourself a gem.
