Aquarist VR

Maybe a little more explanation would be welcome. The tablet offering a tutorial is broken, and the game says the player needs a bucket, only nowhere to be found. PLAYTESTING. Ever heard of it?

Задумка хорошая, но реализация - жесть. Вначале меня смутило то, что русский шрифт "дырявый", это значит, что вместо части букв у вас будут квадратики... ну ладно. Вначале тебе дают гараж, типа надо его убрать, точнее, вставить пробки и включить свет. Картинка вроде неплоха, я даже подумал, что в это можно поиграть. Потом вас возвращают в детство, где батя дарит вам аквариум и типа может научить им пользоваться. Ну у меня свой был, я вроде умею. Скипнул обучение, тем более, оно всё равно есть в планшете. Батя стоит в коридоре. То есть, просто стоит фигура бати, без всякого движения, как кукла и пялит на тебя. Максимально кринжово, поржал. А дальше. А что дальше? В инструкции написано всё, и на аквариуме, который надо наполнить - значки, все дела. Ну, ведро, компрессор, отопление. У нас две комнаты и коридор (в котором стоит батя), вторая - ванная. Пришел туда - нет ведра. Нету и всё. Я уже решил что баг и всё дропнуть, и тут я заметил, что у меня на руке часы, и на них баксы, аж пять штук баксов. До меня дошло, что на планшете можно не только читать инструкцию, но и покупать всякое, например- ведро за пять баксов. Ладно, купил, пошел в ванную. Поставил в ванную, налил воды, дальше прикол. Берешь это ведро, несешь назад, оно плескается как пипец. С первого раза я смог донести где-то треть. Она закрыла чуть дно аквариума. Второй раз я всё расплескал... на четвертый раз попытки принести полное ведро я подумал - "ну его ♥♥♥♥♥!" и свалил из игры. Всё это время батя бесстрастно наблюдал.... Такая вот дичь) Не рекомендую.

Wow, the VR port of this game is awful. Literally couldn't finish the tutorial because I couldn't move around and even when things were working, it was just so damned frustrating. Maybe the regular PC version is better than the VR

All options are unlocked and free. You can make and maintain the fish aquarium of your dreams. This is a great interactive simulator with easy to use controls and great looking world to get immersed into. The graphics look amazing and the game comes with lots of options and items to choose from. This is a fantastic sim game for running a business, or putting together the perfect fish aquarium. I found both play modes very entertaining and drawing me back for more. One thing I would like to see added to the game is the option to save a few different fish aquariums you design in sandbox mode. If you are looking for that next great sim game, this is it. Just gonna list the things I don't like. The crouch resetting to standing automatically. The screen blacking out if you collide with something. The bucket. I spilt it so much from it colliding with other things and it reacting to one step and getting enough momentum to turn itself upside down to spill out. The tablet, specifically the aim laser disappearing when I'm trying to hit the scroll bar. Also the tablet never being in a convenient location. Hand collision its not needed except for the few item that require you to open with no grab point, and I guess I accidentally threw one of my hands away with the trashbag and even going to the main menu didn't reset it. I CANNOT PET THE FISH IN THE LOADING SCREEN!

I was really hoping this would be good but it’s a bit infuriating and you get two missions past the tutorial. You just make your own tank in your basement and one tank for a friend after. This has been released for coming up on 3 years this December and it can be completed in like 2 hours when taking your time. There are also some issues with your hands colliding with the plants (not just normal decor) making it so hard to try to place more plants and stuff nearby. If you drop anything you will not be able to get it if you’re in sitting mode and will have to stay seated and change to standing mode to get it. The bucket is an issue on its own as (if you sing smooth movement mode at least) you can’t walk at the slow full speed without your bucket having a seizure i. Your hand and spilling all the water. You have to barely put the joystick forward to not spill and it can still spill if you turn weird or bump almost anything. I got it for a dollar so it’s not a huge deal but a massive ripoff for the full price. Genuinely could be a decent vr game if not a good one with some work but it doesn’t seem that it will get that :(

I want to like this game but there is no content and with the 1.0 release I wonder if it will ever get any more. What you see in the trailer is ALL the content in the game. Tutorial room, personal basement and 1 mission. There has been multiple updates to the flat screen version and nothing here, I think it's safe to say it's abandoned. Edit 1 year later : I see the game is on sale again without a single update. Do not purchase, it's abandoned while the flatscreen version still receives major updates.
