About

Aquamarine is a turn-based playable comic book about surviving in an alien ocean.
Inspired by the psychedelic sci-fi of the '70s & '80s, Aquamarine combines the mystery of old-school adventure games and challenging roguelikes with elements of survival, exploration, and puzzle solving.

Journey across a water world reclaimed by nature. Overcome survival and navigational challenges as you discover the planet's lost history. Master your pod's controls, study the ocean wildlife, and solve environmental puzzles to help you find your way home.

Cultivate a variety of alien plants with unique attributes. Forage the depths for food and salvage tools to help you survive. Collect and craft powerful upgrades for your humble escape pod, and customize your loadout to fit the needs of every plunge into the water.

You play as a lone space traveler known only as The Seeker. While orbiting an uncharted aquaplanet, your starcraft is disrupted by a strange signal and you're forced to eject. You crash land on a tiny island surrounded by an endless alien ocean, with nothing to help you but an amphibious survival pod. Throughout your underwater journey to reach your crashed ship, you'll uncover the planet's lost history and discover the true nature of why The Seeker ended up here.

Reviews
The gameplay is meditative and immersive, and as many others note, the artwork and sound design/score is impeccable. The random events are great and I love the dreamy, psychedelic tone to everything. Definitely worth picking up for the depth of the world-building. I would compare playing it to tending a zen garden, or a scavenger hunt on mushrooms.
Schade!

NOTE: I've logged 2-4 hours on Aquamarine but the time stamp is incorrectly tagging this at 19 minutes. Aquamarine is pretty fun if you want to play something that doesn't demand too much of you and looks really great while you explore. The lack of combat and simple resource mechanics makes it all about immersing yourself in the world and getting lost (with purpose). Oh, and the music is great too.
This a fantastic game based on 70's sci-fi comics. It's a turn-based survival game that requires solving puzzles and building up a island camp so you can last long enough to explore the undersea world on the planet. Loved the graphics, gameplay and general vibe. The publishers at Moebial did a top-notch job. I'm really excited to see what they come up with next!
Visually gorgeous in a unique way, but the gameplay is incoherent and not really enjoyable.
Positives: The graphics are really nice with a satisfactory soundtrack of ambient sounds to go along with it. Negatives: The controls are fiddly, and you have to move to exactly the right space to move onto the next stage, which involves boring trial and error.
……操作像给盲人打手语,最基本的哪亮点哪都做不到,交互糟糕的典型。漫画美术救不了一点。
Beautiful art, but seemed very hard on normal. A little buggy and just not that fun.
very buggy
Refunded. I got stuck without the ability to move my pod in any direction nor move up to the surface, after exactly 8 minutes of playing, during the tutorial. I've seen in the other reviews that this is happening quite often. Shame, as the art is really good.
