Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Jul 20 → 0.83/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Apocalypse Express is an action management Roguelike in which the player conducts, upgrades and repairs different parts of the train through endless waves of enemies in a post-apocalyptic setting. Departing the darkness of their lifelong shelter, the player decides to embark on a journey through the wasteland looking to fulfill the dream of seeing the outside world with their own eyes, charting out a map around the few remaining memories of the past world.
Be prepared for some nail-biting tension as you try to keep your train running while balancing putting out fires, collecting resources and dispatching enemies. You won't always be able to take care of every part of the Train so be ready to think fast and smart as things will not go as planned.
Modules are the foundation of your Build. Fill up your Wagons with various modules each giving you unique abilities. There are Modules for every type of Wastelander. Go full offense by building up an arsenal of cannons, rocket launchers and turrets, obliterating everything in your path. Take the more defensive approach and create an indestructible machine built around disabling enemies, deflecting shots and extinguishing fires, keeping your train healthy and running even through the harshest conditions. Or experiment with other combinations, perhaps go with a speedy train that gets you to your destination faster or even create a completely autonomous system that does all the work for you. Your slots are limited, so choose wisely.
Once you've assembled your perfect combination of modules it's time to make them shine. Each module can be upgraded in dozens of interesting ways, either by making them more powerful or introducing completely new abilities.
Relics are the final piece of the puzzle, you can only have a few of them but relics often bring powerful and impactful effects that can be the backbone of some amazing builds! Mix and match them to find the best combination to create the perfect Train.

The game is fun. And, unusually for train games, you're usually running around non-stop. If the ammo is loaded, the modules are repaired, the resources at the side of the track have been collected, and the latest wave of enemies has been fought off, you still have to load coal into the engine. Downtime is rare unless you've managed to get a set of upgrades and modules that swiftly wreck your enemies. And if all around you is on fire and there are still more enemies coming, then maybe, just maybe, you can just focus on keeping the engine running, and get to the end of the level before your train is wreckage.

ABSOLUTELLY GREAT game! Lots of content, lots of builds, lots of upgrades that never stops no matter how god your run are :D My only remark is that the high hp difficulty increase in new game plus make you auto lose if you get 2 coal suckers as you cannot really kill them that early in the game. So HP for enemies should be a ramp up, not a sudden increase right out of the gate. Cuz only the burn has enough dmg to deal with enemies that early on, and thats it. Same goes for the rest of the stuff, the needler is the only module that is viable cuz of its burn upgrade for same reason, and it can actually do some decent damage with pierce wrap and attack speed buffs, but that is a lot of upgrade just to make it meh. deffense and healing module is mandatory also, and if you dont get it early enough to start buffing them, then you just fall off. All other modules are useless. or need multiple specific buffs to combo togather for something meh at best game almost not long enough for it. I would say new game should allow to specifically select your starting module or select it as guarantie get it on first chance you can get it at minimum, else all you can do is keep rolling until you get the burn upgrade for the main cannon and if you run out of cores just keep farming again and keep rolling until you get it.
Fun and simple to understand Roguelike with interesting mechanics and build options that make it easy to play and learn while hard to master! All at a great price! It's a lot of fun
FTL on rails, which means good. My only gripe is the difficulty spike with bosses (also FTL) and that it needs an easy mode (you guessed it, like FTL has!)
Как же хорошо стали делать рогалики Сначала бесит Потом хочется еще и еще Зашел на 20 минут, просидел почти 2 часа... Хорошая прогрессия) И когда разберешься - игрушка прям имба
This is a great FTL style game with catchy music and satisfying combat. My only real complaint is that some of the bosses can be really oppressive and put you in situations where you're either losing a lot of health or ammo with no real way to counter it. If a boss spawns enough enemies or you get behind on fixing your modules, there's VERY little room for recovery. The game is a lot of fun, and I feel the skill checks add a bit of skill expression, but bosses are either an easy win or a drawn out, devastating loss.
Trash balance , terrible gameplay through , regret to buy it.
Great game. Quick to hop in and out of. It has a catchy loop and lots of great upgrade combos to piece together to make insanely strong builds.
hâte de voir comment ça va évoluer
