[h2]If you love Resource Management + Futuristic Theme with a sprinkle of combat, this game is for you[/h2] Anno 2205 shines with it's excellent city-building mechanics exactly like Anno 1800, and the visuals are fantastic, no complaints whatsoever. You upgrade to eventually have investors and executives similar to the other Annos, and this all feels well-balanced. The story progresses you through a Lunar Build program, and to my surprise, the game is much shorter than Anno 1800, and you progress quite quickly. The way combat is handled seems strange or dated. Teleporting you to a new arena map doesn't feel right in the game, unlike in Anno 1800, where, although combat was not a focus, it all took place with visible trade routes and escorts. The arena combat zones make it feel like its own game within a game, with nothing but resource gathering that you get from it. You can get invaded, which is the only real combat you get within your sector. Anno 2205 is a great futuristic city builder; you can pick it up for $7 on sale, and that, I believe, is definitely worth it. In total, I got 16.1 hours out of it, compared to my 95 hours on Anno 1800. If you like city building, a small amount of combat, resource management, and a futuristic setting, this game is perfect for you. not frustrating difficult but intricate,interesting and involved gameplay! one of the best city builders out there! awesome graphics as well~ the Anno team really put a lot into this game, actually only grype I have is it it is completely a campaign there is no random sandbox mode ( well I have ignored the campaign and it is kinda a sandbox) but too get too cool new features and buldings you must follow the ascribed missions but it is certainly worth the time! a lot of the game allows for player freedom of course within the set goals but none the less i GIVE A STRONG FIVE STARS!

By the way things are progressing, the game should be renamed to Anno 2025. Almost all the technology is already here. What a time to be alive. 1. [b]One more turn effect[/b] - Its not a turn based game but it definitely has a strong "one more turn" effect. You just keep coming back for more 2. [b]Lunar power[/b] - Instead of using the fusion reactor in sun, we use one on moon. Because its closer! 3. [b]Tiberium Addiction[/b] - The Tundra DLC adds the green stuff and aerogel. Its so good. I wish they added more than one Tundra region. 4. [b]Shuttle is on schedule[/b] - Yeah I know. 5. [b]Stocks hotkey[/b] - I wish there wa a hotkey to buy stocks. Maybe there is, it doesnt show up in the tooltip. Overall a lot of things and little bits have been polished in Anno 1800 but it is still a game worth playing on and after 2025 because things are hitting a bit too close to home.

While some consider it to be a "bad" ANNO game, it is a good citybuilder. A shame that many things never made it to next game.
