Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Bought it on sale and im so glad I bought it cheap. Colors are sad. Even for the "Eden" faction, its sad. Eden is supposedly environment support but their green is sad, its the kind of green that looks like dying moss, not the vibrant green you expect from something that supports the earth. There is no tutorial of sort. I came from Civ 6 game where you get hints here and there when you are just starting (especially hidden or passive mechanics like amenities/loyalties) but this one just launches you into the water and no prompt at all. Or maybe there is but its not doing a good job as i've tried clicking things. And the NPC have the audacity to say "this is slavery" well gurl just eat dirt because I'm trying to learn the game and you whining! And the UI. Just look at the other comments about the UI. Dont ask me about gameplay because it got disappointing too fast before i even began to play. Oh, the logins too. Downloaded from Steam and asked me to download Ubisoft. I am already logged in to Steam and asked me to login to Ubisoft (or create account), and then ask me to re-login every f time I try to open the game. It really kills your gaming mood like I dont even want to play it anymore.
Game itself is good, played it a ton years ago, Ubisoft servers on the other hand aren't. Since May you no longer get career points for completing missions, daily events .... They unlock gameplay altering upgrades and are the main progression system for the game . Ubisoft is aware of the issue for atleast a month now, no fix. EDIT: As of 27.04.2026 the points work so i have changed my review to positive
no
EDIT: The game has died on 1st April 2025. As of 18 May I'm yet to be able to play it. I love Anno series and tried to give devs benefit of the doubt even though their publisher is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. But my patience has run out. I don't even remember what I was doing in march when I had access to the game. I don't care, even if this crap works tomorrow but obviously it won't. They're selling broken abandonware. If anyone sees this review and wants to buy Anno 1800 or Anno 117, then You should know, that You're only borrowing the access to those games. In few years it will be taken away from You because You don't own it. Sorry for the people that gave me awards and marked it as helpful, but It would not be fair to recommend this paperweight on disk. ORIGINAL DEPRACATED REVIEW: Don't get discouraged by the mixed reviews. Anno 2070 is second best anno game after Anno 1800. Maybe third if You prefer 1404. Everything wrong with Anno games are due to Ubisoft only. The game is great, the devs have put a lot of love into it. Most reviews are about Ubisoft too. Yes, You need the crappy Uplay account. Yes, Hamster powered servers pukes over themselves often. Yes, the game doesn't work every now and then because Ubisoft is incompetent. But this is an old game with multiplayer elements that still works because the devs care. They could easily go The Crew treatment, but somehow Ubisoft hasn't tried too hard to destroy this game. Just remember. While everything Ubisoft touches turns to ♥♥♥♥, they haven't touched too much of Anno. Devs somehow kept most of the independence when creating their art.
Graphics: 8.5/10 Still holds up well for its age. Clean, futuristic aesthetics with detailed buildings, smooth animations, and a beautiful ocean environment. Gameplay: 9/10 Deep, rewarding, and strategic. Balancing resources, eco-systems, and faction needs keeps you hooked for hours. Sound & Music: 7.5/10 Ambient and atmospheric, though not particularly memorable. It fits the mood but doesn’t stand out much. Story: 6.5/10 The campaign is okay—more of a long tutorial—but it’s the continuous mode and sandbox gameplay where the game really shines. Replay ability: 9/10 Tons of depth, different factions, and multiple paths to grow your cities make this game super replayable. User Interface: 8/10 Clean and informative, though the amount of menus and micro-management might feel overwhelming at first. Internet Connection : 1/10 In my experience once you played more than 2 or 3 hours the games disconnects from the internet its either you re install it or wait for couple of days to play again. this is a big draw back for thous players who love to play online. online perks has a very huge benefits than playing offline. Overall: 7.5/10 Anno 2070 is a fantastic and engaging city-builder with deep strategic mechanics, unique futuristic flavor, and impressive visuals for its time. However, the unstable online connectivity seriously impacts the experience—especially for players who want to take advantage of the game’s online-exclusive perks and multiplayer features. If you’re mostly into solo or sandbox play, it’s still a gem, but for online-focused players, the connection issues are a frustrating letdown.
You know the time I have put in this game; it's sad that the servers are slowly dying and how much war and play; the best way to play is eco, then tycoon, free power, but all are hypocrites in all of the play; the level of crap from needing power and the DLC making it easier for buildings; the way of the cities and work islands is so much nicer when the damn AI that hates good eco levels for food and no tornados in the zone is fun, and they get mad at you for it. Mmm, it's not like I wanted to keep that out, and you do you, AI. Other players liked when I would make my buildings down for their eco levels. The AIs are fun… But the Neoprints are just Tars; they are not pirates; just kill them when that event starts…. oh yeah, play before it's fully dead. As a dev, I'm taking things out and making a fan game that has base items in with more on how the ECO is formed from air, water, food, and RAD too, and ways to fix it with the mods. update: servers are dead and Dont buy it dont work... Dev part: time to rip things out of this game and make it something else that can be offline and can be idk the anno 2070 was a good part of the hell hours of my life "1,442.7" what steam says but im looking in to making some parts of this game to my game sub game and my main game has alot of well when you see it on here (steam) you know ugh
