Shape the Roman Empire in this genre-defining strategic builder game. Build cities while expanding your influence through Roman provinces. Govern using your economic prowess, diplomatic skills, or military might.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

About
As governor, how you build and govern will shape your story, your citizens’ destiny, and your provinces’ future. Will you cooperate with other governors or prove your military prowess by challenging your rivals? The cost of peace is yours to decide.
Build your provinces with unmatched detail, flexibility, and scale. Watch kids chase dogs through the streets or thousands cheer in the arena. Build upon the land that you see, from the beautiful heartland of Latium to the mysterious Celtic wetlands of Albion… where no civilized Roman wants to be.
Design the cities of your dreams at the peak of the Roman Empire as you balance your people's needs with the relentless demands of the emperor. Forge alliances across the empire or showcase your might with strategic land battles and naval combat. You may even defy the emperor himself – but not without consequences.
Every decision you make as governor matters. Will you honor local Celtic culture or enforce Roman traditions? Grow your provinces through diplomacy and commerce or conquer through military strength. Your choices will shape not only the future of your citizens and your provinces, but your own story as well.

it has bee a favourtit site since settlers began
I have thoroughly enjoyed Anno 117 as a relaxing game with gorgeous city building. As a lover of the time period, I am blown away by the detail that both Roman and Celtic cultures are brought to life.. There is easily hundreds of hours here already, if you're not trying to min-max and rush production and treat every island you settle as something unique to bring alive. My advice would be to keep the difficulty settings low, as the AI is not even remotely playing the same game as the player and will field impressive fleets and armies untethered from an actual economy. Also, limit your FPS anywhere to 30 to 60. This isn't a game in which you're using movement and twitch reflexes, and the level of detail it renders your cities means this game can easily make mid-tier machines chug along. As for complaints, people are correct: there's seems to be an entire third act missing from the campaign --which is something I may not have cared about, but this game surprised me by getting me attached to my governor (play the sister, the story is so much better!) and it all seems like it's leading up to an a-historical climax that never comes. You've also probably seen cosmetics packs that are not included in the Season Pass, and yeah, it's a pretty crappy move. I can tolerate nickel and diming to an extent, in the context that city builders are a niche of an already niche genre (strategy), and I can only imagine the nightmare of trying to justify a game like this to executives. If you love city builders and are a of mid Roman and late Celtic periods, get this yesterday. If performance and it's DLC pricing turn you off, I'd say wait for a sale and still pick this up and try it out.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 5: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best DE #22, worst MX #94 · 7 markets collected

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I get to rule Pax Romana and I get to tell that stupid, dull, illiterate, no-prestige-having probably Swedish pirate to ♥♥♥♥ off while i destroy his sissy boats with the might of the green fleet and destroy Dorian's stupid ass. Ubisoft add brothels please. 10/10
RTX 5080 DLSS balaced 4k isommassa kaupungissa FPS voi pudota 20 tienoille, ja tietyissä näkymissä 1 % low menee jopa yksinumeroiseksi. Ray tracing mediumille laskemalla peli muuttui pelattavaksi, mutta RTX 5080:llä 4K + DLSS Balanced + ultra RT:n pitäisi toimia paremmin. Muuten ihan hyvä.

this game doesnt deserve the hate it gets , the campaign sucked but everything else about it is good but thats just classic ubisoft. the sandbox side of it is awesome and gets you hooked especially if your intersted in logistical challanges. also keen to explore egypt dlc they have planned. 9.5/10
I'm all for hating Ubisoft, but honestly the game is alright. It's not great, there are some downgrades from 1800, some bugs / missing qol, but overall you will get your money's worth of entertainment granted you like this genre. I am not sure how all those people managed to make any conclusions from their 5 hours of gameplay, that's not enough to see anything in a game like this. Some points: The Albion citizen tiers and production chains were fun to solve. War sucks even more. Combat is ass, going to war with AI is even more annoying than in 1800. Takes way longer to blitz the island you are trying to take, so you need overwhelming force all over the world to make sure your trade routes don't get disrupted by random AI fleets. There are also severe penalties for going to war in the first place. And there is no option to peacefully take over islands like with shares in 1800. Volcanic island is annoying to deal with. It's supposed to be the Crown Falls of this game, and it kind of is, but it forces you to deal with this annoying chore of surviving / recovering from volcanic eruptions. That is what made me close the game after 60 hours, don't wanna deal with that. Just want to build. Overall like 6.5/10 game. Dlc might make it better than that.
Bedingt empfehlenswert.
