Awesome!
6/10 so I give it a thumbs-up. I find this new Anno too simplified and a bit boring compared to Anno 1800. I was a hughe fan of Anno 1800 and spent hundreds of hours playing it, I replayed campaigns and sandbox multiple times over the years and I'm still loving it to this day. I don't see it happening with this Anno 117 though. Way too boring, there's literally not much to do as the economy is kind of handling itself. There are many disrupting dialogues and pop-up messages that affect immersion negatively. I think they also missed the mark with the characters and stories, everything feels forced and not very believable. I so wanted to love it so I'm a bit disappointed to have to write this review. Graphics are good though, even though the artistic direction lacks the charms of Anno 1800. It runs smoothly on my PC, no crashes so far.
