Shape the Roman Empire in this genre-defining strategic builder game. Build cities while expanding your influence through Roman provinces. Govern using your economic prowess, diplomatic skills, or military might.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
About
As governor, how you build and govern will shape your story, your citizens’ destiny, and your provinces’ future. Will you cooperate with other governors or prove your military prowess by challenging your rivals? The cost of peace is yours to decide.
Build your provinces with unmatched detail, flexibility, and scale. Watch kids chase dogs through the streets or thousands cheer in the arena. Build upon the land that you see, from the beautiful heartland of Latium to the mysterious Celtic wetlands of Albion… where no civilized Roman wants to be.
Design the cities of your dreams at the peak of the Roman Empire as you balance your people's needs with the relentless demands of the emperor. Forge alliances across the empire or showcase your might with strategic land battles and naval combat. You may even defy the emperor himself – but not without consequences.
Every decision you make as governor matters. Will you honor local Celtic culture or enforce Roman traditions? Grow your provinces through diplomacy and commerce or conquer through military strength. Your choices will shape not only the future of your citizens and your provinces, but your own story as well.

Fun game. Plenty of hours to sink in building up your empire. Great graphic style. Takes a long time to get great at the game. so there is plenty of room for you to imrpove as a player. 1 Year Pass comes with content based DLC's where as the ones you have to pay seperatly are entirley Scenery and Decoration (definitely don't need to purchase if you don't want).

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 5: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best DE #17, worst MX #94 · 7 markets collected
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.67/day in the week to Jul 21 → 6.8/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great beautiful game. 9.9/10 If you liked Anno 1800 this will hit home for you IMO.

wait too small game. i finish everything in few hours. ok nice game i like it but ...
Macht spaß, hatte einen absturz mit savegame verlust aber insgesamt trotzdem gut. freue mnnich auf mehr content.
To me this game is bursting with potential. The reality is this game is a skeleton with meat to be added in the form of DLC over the next few years, and that's fine - the skeleton at the moment is still very good, fun, has all of the Anno magic and worth the asking price imo. In it's current state you could argue it is bare bones but they're still good bones. I'm looking forward to the game being fully padded out over the years by which point it will be absolutely brimming with content, mechanics, other regions etc. They nailed it with 1800 and I'm sure they'll find their way with this too. Good: Beautiful graphics Solid addictive Anno city building, trade simulation Ancient world atmosphere and art direction is very good Enough to keep you busy for many hours Performed great on my system Bad: Somewhat simplistic and limited in setting in it's current state - only one other biome/region Some missing features from 1800 like seeing workers in fields (nitpick!) Needs padding out with features and content from DLC
Super Game macht bock vorallem Coop aber bitte lasst mich alle statuen spiegeln können ihr penner 9/10
It’s a moderately entertaining city builder that has high replay value but is extremely repetitive. Be aware that the war aspect is only a side note to the game. The AI is stupid at best and completely nonsensical at worst. City builders should be better than this by now. City builder games have not progressed in any meaningful fashion since Sim City. It’s disappointing to say that twenty years ago Sim City and all its sequels gave us the best we were ever going to have. The biggest disconnect in this game is the representation of your population. Sim City was actually one for one citizens in your city. It was engrossing. Obsessively satisfying. Like watching an anthill with endless possibilities. In these modern games the visual representation of your citizens are only eye candy. There’s no real connection between them and what’s actually going on in your city. They just say the same canned phrases and repeat the same canned routes with no real personality at all. Clicking on a building gives stats but tells you nothing at all about the personality of the people that live there. It’s just a canned phrase depending on their class. To elevate these kinds of games to greatness the graphics must represent what’s actually going on in the city. Cookie cutter houses for four classes and cookie cutter industrial buildings. The AI in the game for the NPCs is equally disconnected. They’ll have no ships until you declare war on them and suddenly they’ll have twenty top of the line vessels. There’s no connection with what they're doing on their island and how the game is actually played. Take over an island and you’ll see the complete disconnect. The cities don’t even function. They’re laid out in the most bizarre fashion like a robot that has a vague idea of what we’re supposed to be doing. Actually, it’s downright creepy. The most difficult NPCs doesn’t outplay you. They just get a massive dose of free resources even though it’s clear they haven’t earned them. They have no strategy. They're just resource juggernauts that you can’t catch up to. The best way to defeat them is very early game or late game when you catch up. NPCs have no personality. They are only cardboard cutouts repeating phrases. This is how a mid level game elevates itself to excellence. Keeping supply chains up is only interesting for one or two play throughs. After that we need some depth. We need to feel we’re actually creating something unique. Our sandlot is special. The NPCs need to imitate real human opponents or just make them make sense. Anything besides silly resources and building units from destroyed buildings. The interface is slow. It takes a long time to load a multi player game and the maps aren’t that big. Why is every map islands? Ubisoft’s subscription policy is terrible too. Just sell me the complete game. I’ll buy it. I don’t want a subscription.
