Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
ANIWARS is a challenging turn-based strategy roguelike where you play as a faction Commander. Lead your squad, collect powerful items, conquer territory and face off against other powerful rival Commanders!
Battle through difficult encounters where you must use everything at your disposal to prevail against the enemy, be it unique abilities, using the environment to your advantage, capturing objectives or finding the perfect use for the item you picked up earlier.
For over half a century, the world has been engulfed in an unending conflict. It all started after Void Day, a cataclysmic event where all of Vertex’s Dark Matter drives around the globe imploded creating Void Zones which swallowed cities and ripped apart continents. From the chaos three factions emerged: the Military, PUNKZ and Vertex. Each faction has its own style in both design and gameplay.

Commanders function both as playable characters and bosses! Each Commander has their own set of abilities and unique dialogue.
Capture territory, assemble your squad and gain enough power to challenge the rival Commander at the end!
200+ items and consumables with wild combos, stratagems, events and dozens of battle maps make each run of ANIWARS a unique experience!

I get the point of the game, I think the concept is there, my only issue is that the difficulty is so artificial, I suppose since its a roguelike that may be the point but even if I have the best of the best loot and all my girls are fully equipped, the next level just has every single base under their control and they get 5000 buffs and since you and the enemies are on even distances from eachother no matter where you try to go they will be there too. I have completed all the Fire Emblem games, I would have to compare this game to the Fire Emblem Echoes level, Desert Stronghold. Its all artificial difficulty designed to make you waste your time on 20 runs.
Pros -Absolute top tier art. -Combat is mechanically more complex than traditional games like Advance Wars -Lots of different items combinations to keep things fresh -Like seriously the devs have added an absurd amount of items it's great -In active development and consistently being added to -Price in incredibly reasonable for such a solid game -Character designs are clearly made by devs with exquisite taste Cons -No marriage mechanic

Visually it's fantastic however the balance leaves much to be desired. The normal battles are somewhat easy however some battles, especially the boss battle, are extremely unbalanced. The enemy will start with multiple buildings which will buff, heal, and shield their units and this makes the fight extremely unfun. If the enemy started with one or two buildings with neutral buildings nearby then it would be more balanced whilst still retaining some challenge. As it stands now the game isn't very fun to play and needs a patch or two more seriously focussing on the balance.
So, I bought the game from when it came out and I have to say it improved A LOT since its release! The difficulty now feels challenging but fair instead of utter nonsense, the achievements unlocking new items is a very cool feature and the introduction of new characters made this story from just decent to pretty good. If there is one thing I'd like to be added, then it would be a "gallery" type of feature where you can view the units' artwork, the items' descriptions and even various story bits (all after getting them while playing, obviously)
My war criminal girlfriend can't be this cute
Pls, add description of characteristics. Your game is cool
A good combination of art and gameplay. Obviously work in progress, but the groundwork is very solid. Kind of hard at first, but you will learn proper positioning very quickly after losing one of your units to an enviromental kill
Do you like advance wars? Do you like waifus? Well have I got the game for you! Aniwars is a fun little rogue lite spin on the advance wars formula. Instead of of large scale conflicts, you're typically managing smaller skirmishes; with a max squad size of six, and a wide array of units and items to keep each encounter feeling unique and fresh. That said, the game is still early in development. It doesn't take long to figure out what items you want to go for with each unit, and what unit combinations provide the most consistent reward vs. risk factor. Still, the road to getting to that point is pretty fun. And I don't regret my time with it at all. As you can see based on the thumbs up, I recommend the game, even in its current state, however with some caveats. If the idea of a slightly more basic advance wars with anime waifus doesn't appeal to you, then I don't think the game really provides much in its current state to warrant purchasing at this time. Even then, fans of the genre might find the current experience to be quite shallow. So why recommend it? Well, the past few patches have not only demonstrated to me a commitment to adding content to the game, but also a willingness to listen and adapt to player feedback. Patch 0.2.2 (the latest patch as of writing) addressed virtually all of my complaints from a balance perspective, laying a solid foundation for future content updates to come. I'm genuinely looking forward to what the developers have planned for the future, and I feel that well earned optimism warrants a recommendation.
Abundant lack of tutorials. This is my first ever TBS, and it was not fun trying to figure out what anything was or what was happening. I assume most of my problems come from being the 1% who've never played a Turn Based Strategy Game, but I had no idea what was going on. There was no proper explanation of what the tiles on the battle map actually meant or how they worked, so I took a horrible route & wasted my money. My first run went badly due to poor routing because I didn't know what any of the tiles meant- fighting 1 battle, trying to recruit more people & having almost no money, then going to a shop & not knowing what any of the items meant or their effects were as there was still no tutorial on items. I reset to see if I missed something. My second run went badly because, after winning my first fight, I attempted a second fight to get more money before heading to recruit & shop. I met two much stronger enemies who killed 1 of my 3 starting units very easily & wrecked my other 2 before I could do any reasonable damage. Being down 1 unit, I assumed I would just die to reset. Instead my units showed more abilities not explained to me, surviving several rounds. I have no idea if it was a pity mechanic or the units functioning normally, but it took forever for the fight to end w/ me somehow (& undeservedly) winning w/ 2 units dying. Having only 1 Unit, barely any money, I ended the run & decided that games like this are nightmares to play unless I already know how to play.
