About
Endless Tactics: Trial Run is the prologue to Endless Tactics, a Turn-Based Roguelite game where you play as the commander of a high-risk planetary mining expedition.
Explore the first solar system and prepare for the expeditionary voyage by practicing your military command and mining skills. Explore the starter solar system and take on a limited arsenal of tools while beating back alien fauna, dangerous weather, and other secrets in this introduction to Endless Tactics!
Defend your base from incessant hordes of alien creatures as you harvest valuable resources, and weather dangerous planetary hazards such as spore filled meteor showers and earthquakes, all while uncovering valuable drop pods and new mysterious Artifacts. Whenever things get too bleak, Extract to your orbiting spaceship to rearm, Upgrade, and unlock more dangerous and profitable worlds. Good luck, Commander. MechTek is counting on you to make a buck!
Defend your mining operation from the alien menace! Manage a variety of units from military vehicles to towering mechs to fight back the deadly alien hordes as you extract valuable resources! Sometimes, tough decisions and sacrifices will be necessary to keep it going just until the next Extraction Opportunity - then Extract, or remain there and face the fearsome Apex Enemies (Bosses unique to each Planet)!
Outfit your orbiting spaceship with the latest gear in excavation and offensive technology (warning: some upgrades might increase profits at the cost of survivability).
Approach Operations in any order and scale you wish and choose what missions you undertake. This solar system is home to a variety of quarantined (but highly profitable) planets, from verdant jungles to toxic wastelands.
Planetary events such as steel-piercing sandstorms, earthquakes, airstrikes, and a whole slew of other events accompany each mission, tilting the odds in and out of your favor.
Alien Artifacts are scattered across all of the [NULL] Solar System. Collect and combine them for all kinds of game-changing (and sometimes breaking) builds! Among them, you'll encounter Artifacts like Skewstone - which makes ALL Units move diagonally, like checkers; and Armageddon - which makes EVERYTHING deal double Damage. And you can just keep stacking them for as long as you survive!

I was actually quite surprised how good this game was. I really did enjoy it. Good mindless fun to enjoy on the side.
Since it's a demo, I won't judge it too harshly, overall say the game is fun, but the lack of the polishing clearly shows, some units are incredibly broken while others are useless, there is tons pop ups, and it's difficult to navigate around, also artifacts make the game chaotic, though don't know if that is the intent. All in all for a demo and ignoring the state, would say this game is fun and has potential!

I have played more of the old demo, but this is my first ever Turn based tactics game. It is pretty simple to get into and great fun! Would highly recommend!
I really enjoyed my time in the game . The idea is simple and it works really well, the gameplay is clear and easy to get into. The mechanics are straightforward, so I didn’t need much time to understand how everything worked. I also like the simple graphics because they fit the game style nicely. What stood out to me the most is the long term gameplay.by Upgrading your ship, trying different approaches, and learning from each run makes you want to keep playing and see how far you can go. also There’s a good mix of enemies, upgrades, and tactical choices, so the runs don’t feel repetitive too quickly. Overall, it’s a really enjoyable game with a nice sense of progression and plenty of reasons to come back for another run. it's a highly recommended experience,
Fun turn-based tactics prologue simple mechanics but every move counts, making it genuinely satisfying to think through. Visuals and sound punch above the file size, combat hits feel great, and it ran smooth with zero bugs or crashes. The stackable Artifact system makes runs genuinely addicting once you get going. Recommended, looking forward to the full release!
Fun little game that can be tweaked into something even better... This demo gets a 3/5 from me.
This game has a lot of potential. The creator is constantly updating the game and is super responsive on YouTube and Discord. Gameplay loop is fun and I cannot wait to play the next run. Don't come expecting an easy game but as you upgrade it does seem to even out. There is also options to make it easier which helped me greatly get through the first escalation. Cant wait to see the escalation (haha, see what I did there) of the game as the creator continues to create and balance.
Nice free TT strategy with simple mechanics and an ok upgrade tree and system. Fills that itch when you want a quick game. Did I mention it's free? Good serviciable graphics, sound effects and music. Runs smoothly on my 12 year old non-GFX laptop. And it's free.
