Animals Memory: Dogs

Редко пишу один обзор на две игры, но сегодня именно такой момент, понеже Animals Memory: Dogs и Animals Memory: Underwater Kingdom абсолютно одинаковая игра, а я не голый попугай, дабы сидеть и перефразировать каждый пункт из-за творческого порыва. Прошу понять и простить, ррребята. [/u] Доброго времени суток, так уж случилось, что Laush Dmitriy Sergeevich нашел себя в крайне сомнительных аркадах и головоломках, а если перевоплотить мои слова в эссенцию, то данный разработчик целенаправленно выпускает одну игру по несколько раз. Я уже проходил ранее некоторые игры из серии Memory, оставлял им положительные обзоры, но сколько можно, это же переходит все допустимые границы! Сегодня под мой прицел попали только две казуальные игры из ниши Animals Memory, но если вам будет удобно, то можете читать его перед прохождением любой другой головоломки, что носит данную приписку, а таких в магазине выше крыши, поверьте. Разработчик наделяет каждую головоломку 18 заданиями, каждое из которых потребует от игрока проявить талант к запоминанию фишек на игроком поле. Таймер отсчитывает несколько секунд, даруя глазам полную картину ситуации, а затем игра переворачивает фишки рубашкой кверху, заставляя разыскивать парные иллюстрации. Звучит просто и понятно, а все из-за того, что так оно и есть! Игра сама по себе примитивная до безобразия, но я на это даже не жалуюсь. Выпустил бы талантливый разработчик ее раз, ну два, но зачем же перенасыщать магазин копиями до предела? Уровень сложности взлетает крайне стремительно. Первые уровни пролетают перед глазами практически незаметно, ну кто из нас перепутает расположение фигурок на столе в тот момент, когда их там всего 3 пары? Но ближе к финалу на нас будут смотреть 10, а после и все 12 пар разноплановых фишек, вот тут и вытекут глаза, друзья, тут вы и познаете все темные закоулки собственной невнимательности и проблемы с памятью. Вроде все точно запомнил, а на деле вновь сел в лужу. Я приготовил целый булыжник для чужого огорода, но силенок маловато для точно броска, так что разжую на словах. Все эти однотипные головоломки из серии Animals Memory имеют по 18 уровней, а достижений в них куда больше нужного значения. Если брать обозреваемые игры, то в них 48 и 55 заветных иконок, а выдают их за прохождение любого задания. И к чему нас приведет анализ ситуации, народ? Вот-вот, доблестные детективы, каждую игру нужно проходить по несколько раз, а если вам лень, то следует засесть на первом уровне и перепроходить его полсотни раз...звучит просто божественно и невероятно весело, не находите? [list] [*]Достижения рабочие, но выпадают за безмозглый гринд. [*]В магазине Steam есть целый ряд клонированных игр. Этот продукт входит в список клонов. [*]Маленькая цена. [/list] Следует указать, что на каждом из уровней вы можете допустить не более 3х ошибок. Если ошибетесь 4 раза, то проиграете миссию, а при перезапуске расположение всех фишек поменяет свою позицию. Ошибки влияют на звездную систему при прохождении. Если не допускаете ошибок, то получаете все звезды, ну и все в этом духе, хотя сами звезды вообще никакой роли в данных головоломках не играют. Сугубо декоративный элемент, позволяющий поднять градус самолюбия...наверное. Что же по поводу визуального оформления, то тут все настолько упрощено, что нет никакого смысла поднимать данную тему. Я просто подмечу тяжелые тона на задних фонах. На мой взгляд они несколько давят при прохождении, а не способствуют полету мыслей и никак не помогают при запоминании фишек, но это столь придирчивая нотка, что ее следует запихнуть мне в рот обратно, а коль подняли тему нот, то к музыки нет никаких вопросов! Спокойная, медиативная мелодия сопровождает каждую головоломку по поиску пар с животными, да и не только с ними. В итоге перед вашими глазами сносная игрушка, которую можно пройти без особого восторга, но если рассматривать ситуацию с перевыпуском одной игры в разных оформлениях, то я определенно противлюсь такому подходу, посему и не буду поощрять разработчика без лишнего повода. Оформленная в скромных тонах, игра-головоломка по поиску двух одинаковых изображений, в данном случае собак. В названии фигурирует слово память, так как перед началом уровня все картинки показывают открытыми, а спустя 10-20 секунд закрывают (можно закрыть самому, нажав Go). Всего таких уровней 18, причём выбрать можно любой, хоть сразу последний и он, естественно, самый сложный. Ошибиться можно несколько раз, но если пройдёте, то получите оценку (максимум три звезды). Как всегда плюс за отсутствие таймера и приятную, спокойную музыку на фоне, ну а рейтинг тут скорее чисто для себя. Цена явно завышена, в остальном претензий нет.

Нам на несколько секунд показывают расположение всех картинок на экране, затем они переворачиваются и нам нужно найти все парные картинки с возможностью ошибиться три раза. Уровней достаточно, для такой цены. Если пришли только за ачивками, то можно просто перепройти первый уровень несколько десятков раз и получить идеальную игру. Разработчик выпустил несколько игр клонов, поэтому обзор будет таким-же клоном, но не смотря на это - эту игру уж точно не стоит наказывать пальцем вниз. P.s. Я ненавижу собак! Котики наше все! Memory game that uses different dog breeds. 18 levels that get slowly progressively harder. Achievements are based on how many times you beat any level so no need to complete all of them, though if you want 3/3 stars on all levels for the sake of completing it, and no errors, you can always screenshot/snip individual levels. The music is unnecessarily sombre. The price is way too high for the content it offers. If interested, wait for a good sale. 3/10

Animals Memory: Dogs is the exact same game as all other Animal Memory games. It is a very bare-bones memory puzzle game, where you are allowed a maximum of 3 mistakes per boards. It doesn't offer anything impressive in the graphical or audio department, has no story at all and takes only half an hour to complete. I would've given this game a mixed or even a positive review, but not for a $4 game. The fact that the game gets harder so quickly and only has 18 levels (which can be completed in around 20-25 minutes), doesn't justify the old price of $1 which is now $4 for less than half an hour of content. Overall, as a quick achievement game or very simplistic memory game, it's fine.

The game features simple 2D graphics, of the type you normally expect to see in low effort mobile apps. 3D graphics programming does require a degree of skill and competence and unfortunately not all developers have the budget or talent to deliver this, despite 3D graphics cards hitting the mainstream in the 1990's. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing. This looks and feels like a mobile app, but I wasn't able to find it on the app stores. Maybe it was removed, maybe it was rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all). Regardless, for all intents and purposes "Animals Memory: Dogs" might as well be a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones and play games that might as well be mobile apps. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 5 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. It's also important to note the "developer" here has connections to a number of shady Russian asset flippers and review manipulators (Repa Games, Falco Software etc) who show an organised pattern to scam and defraud gamers with fake reviews and asset flipping the work of others for profit. While reviews are about the games, gamers should be informed when developers act unethically. Whether these connections are the same developer using multiple accounts, or just working closely with other unethical developers, gamers should be warned about the harm to gamers by this developer and their associates. Buying games from unethical developers puts your money at risk. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product. Animals Memory: Dogs has the unethical price of around $4 USD (for software the "developer" stole from others), it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the unethical nature of the developer. Remember that if you buy a game from an unethical developer, you're putting your money at risk. Because this is the kind of game you can just play for free on mobile phones, it's impossible to recommend anyone should pay money for the same experience on Steam.
