AngerForce: Reloaded is an action-packed vertically scrolling shoot'em up game that pays homage to the classics of 90’s arcades. This high octane experience is set against the backdrop of a 19th century human world that has seen the outbreak of a robot rebellion.

A nice shmup, if quite behind the better ones of the genre (which, nowadays, are not lacking on PC). Biggest issue is in the upgrade system which, while appreciated to improve gradually with permanent bonuses like more HP (excellent to compensate the main weakness of Echo, for example), requires quite a lot of grinding before reaching decent results. For quite a while, one has to play with nerfed characters. The necessity to use Slow Mode to recharge energy for the special attacks means it basically has to be kept on most of the time, as not too many enemies release recharge items. There's also the visual aspect, which is as nicely done as it is uninspired and generic, despite a very solid mecha design, and a story that is so underdeveloped I had to wonder why bother with it in the end. On the other hand, I overall enjoyed the gameplay, with four characters nicely differentiated in power, speed, health and special attacks. The boss fights show a certain influence from Psikyo, giant robots or vehicles that just don't want to die, revealing alternate forms or smaller modules when seemingly destroyed. The first two levels of difficulty give access only to 3 and 5 levels respectively, making for a gradual rise of the challenge for the player. Most of all, it's quite accessible even to less experienced or capable players, as with a few upgrades I mostly managed to my own surprise, even at Expert difficulty, making for a time decently spent.
It's a pretty good shoot em up - especially considering it was only done by a team of three Chinese guys You have three difficulties - but really it's just 7 stages - the noob (easy) - is just three stages - normal is 5 stages, including the earlier three but faster - veteran - is the full bullet hell SHMUP experience - Honestly if you are a new to SHMUPS this might a pretty good game to start with because Noob and normal are pretty easy - and Veteran gives you a good challenge if you are experienced - I got to the last stage on veteral - can't beat it till the final boss :D The game has four characters / ships Shin was my favourite - but they are all pretty similar the special powers, and bomb animations are different but there isn't that big of a difference - shin is my favourite because he can cancel bullets with his blade ability There is also a progression / level up - grinding system - which was fun at first - but most rewards are rather meager - so I lost interest in it pretty soon There is also a full arcade mode, and a practice mode - apparently co-op as well - but I didn't try it out since I have no friends :P
Incredible. Maybe my favorite game I’ve bought this year. It’s as if Sega Naomi were still releasing games. Really checks all the boxes for me. Graphics and gameplay are on point. Upgrade system is fun. Little tricky to play on an arcade cab, but I got used to it. So fun.
It's Steampunk Gunbird! It doesn't have the Psikyo-style random mission order (there are 7 missions that play sequentially) but otherwise it feels like a really good modern homage to the Samurai Aces and Gunbird games. Great graphics and sound, multiple characters to play as with diverse shot types and skills, a lengthy campaign mode with higher difficulty levels to unlock and points to acquire to use on upgrades, an arcade mode that lets you play the 7 stages completely straight without the meta-upgrade system, a decent story, etc. Overall a fun time and I'm genuinely surprised at how slept on this game seems to be, as it is the only modern take on the Psikyo style shmup that I've played and it does a really good job of emulating the style while adding a bit more content with a modern Euroshmuppy campaign/story mode that doesn't interfere with a pure arcade-style experience if that's more to your liking.
AngerForce: Reloaded is a vertical scrolling shmup with what I can call action rpg elements. The game features 4 characters. Each with their own primary, 2 secondary and 1 bomb attack. At the conclusion of a game, experience points are awarded to purchase various upgrades from more damage or health to pulling picked toward you when throttled down your speed. Speaking of speed, AngerForce: Reloaded features 3 movement speeds normal, fast and slow. In many shmups, the slow movement would be used for intricate dodging of bullet patterns. This is no different here save enemy bullets are on the faster side and get faster at higher difficulties. The really draw is going slow is to charge up your secondary attack meter to deliver more powerful attacks whose effects are dependent on the character your playing at the time. My favorite is Echo. She has a shorter ranged shotgun blast for one of her secondaries and a slow traveling but powerful and sizable blast radius proximity mine. Depending on the player's selected difficulty determines the number of levels a play through has. With the higher difficulties introducing new levels interwoven with the levels found at lower difficulties. Between this, four characters and tons of generic and character specific upgrades, AngerForce: Reloaded offers plenty of replayablity. As for difficulty, I'd say that AngerForce: Reloaded is on the easier side. Especially with the ability to upgrade the characters. However, it still offers a fair amount of challenge. Especially if a player wants to skip taking upgrades and play the arcade mode. If someone is looking to get started playing more modern shmups, I think AngerForce: Reloaded is a pretty good place to start.
A quality shmup, especially good for newcomers. It has 4 different characters/ships that differ slightly in the spread of the main shot, but have completely different special attacks (2 per ship) and a different style of superpower/bomb. The game features a ton of upgrades that you can unlock for meta-progression, including stuff that makes the game easier (like more health), but also scoring related upgrades (e.g., longer combo time). After each level, you can choose to spend your currency on power-ups for the current run, or for meta progression. It has four difficulty levels that you unlock one after the other, 7 great levels, and a good soundtrack. Training mode and local coop are also available. The graphics are good, and I like the art style. A must play for any shmup fan! 8.5/10
一直在库里基本没动过直到我几岁侄子下来试试游戏本身玩的算开心,但是第三关直接死掉重头再来对小孩子来说还是太难,建议加一个简单模式。最低限度每一关开头重来吧
