Felky Fun Meter

|----------|| [10/10] Massive fun!
Good amount of weapons, abilities, upgrades, enemies, bosses, meta-items/progression.. The controls felt responsive and tight, everything was very fluid and enjoyable. The art is pretty; bright colours exploding around a sexy main character :D Really didn't expect anything from this game and I can't find a single bad thing to say about it even though I usually can't help myself.. It was an out of nowhere extremely pleasant experience thank you <3
This game punches way above its weight! I got it on sale for a couple of bucks, having had a passing interest but no particular expectation toward the game's quality. I'm delighted to say that Angelstruck is a juicy, well-polished twin-stick shooter that most arcade fans should enjoy! I think the greatest strength of the gameplay is the balance it strikes in regards to mechanical complexity. While gameplay mostly amounts to simply aiming with two sticks (as you'd expect), tastefully-implemented secondary mechanics like active reload and dashing helps add texture to the gamefeel while still keeping play simple. There's enough input necessary to hold your interest, but not too much such that it interrupts the flowstate. And the flowstate really is a blast - excellent enemy variety and fantastic A/V design makes playing a joy. The game is difficult but fair, and honing your skills run-over-run is very satisfying. The primary complaint I have about the game is that enemy waves are not randomized - you fight the same enemies, in the same order, every run. I'd prefer randomization for the sake of replayability, but enemy design (and particularly enemy movement) really is implemented well enough to keep runs from getting stale. The other thing worth mentioning is that the game is, overall, on the small side, but, at a $6 price point, I wouldn't call this a flaw. It's an indie game; I'm not expecting AAA-levels of content. I think the game is actually quite generous in terms of its price in relation to the experience on offer. All in all, Angelstruck is an excellent little shooter that I'd easily recommend to fans of this style of game. There's a lot of quality here and very, very little to whinge about. This is not your next 1,000 hour TBoI game, but I think most people would get a handful of fun hours from the game, with a much higher ceiling if they're keen to try out different builds and push the hardest difficulty mode.
Such a cool concept with flawless gameplay.
To easy
I did like 2-3 runs and I can say that i will be coming back for more, although the game feels a bit cheap because I didn't like the UI that much, like the first screen you see when you open the game does not feel that good, but after you press play its alright but still kinda ambigious as you cant tell what you are looking at I think it should be made more obvious that the stuff on the right are secondary fires (?) gameplaywise, it feels good, really speedy, I got past the 3rd boss I think and didnt feel unfair although I did not see what I died to on my last (and longest) run. and the worm was kinda mind blowing in terms of feeling impossible at first, I didn't know how I managed to dodge those big ass projectiles, probably tanked a lot as well since I dropped very low after the fight too I might come to a conclusion about the gameplay after doing more runs since I cannot tell right now if there are undodgable/ unfair boss fights although some worm attacks made me think that, it might just be because I am new
Played just a little bit for now, but here I really really would like to leave a review as soon as possible! It's so well designed game!!! I'm so into it, such a simple conception and such a amazing implementation, give it a shot if you like adrenaline fast and flow games, my huge respect to developers
Started off super hard while trying to learn the controls in the utter madness that the game starts you off in. By the end of an hour playtime I managed to finish Easy Mode and felt incredible doing it. For how inexpensive this game is, it is an *easy* buy.
确实很爽快,目前只尝试了暴击流的build通了困难难度,体验很好,之后继续尝试更多。
Always been a fan of the shooter roguelite genre. When I stumbled upon this game randomly whilst searching through the steam store, I couldn't help but just give it a try. The visuals of this game are stunning, the guns, the movement, the enemies, they all have great synergy that contributes to the fluidity of this game. It's worth every penny spent.
