Angels of Death is a really good story rich, horror game that is definitely one of the best examples of classic RPG Maker style horror games like Witch's House and Mad Father, but let's talk about the story first. A young girl named Rachel Grander wakes up in a strange building, she only remembers speaking with her doctor in therapy but somehow her mind's a blank on how she got here, but soon this young girl will be put on a journey of madness as she teams up with a broken human and serial killer Zack in order not just to escape, but so her wish can be granted and that wish is to die. Okay then the likes, the story is really good at its core it's a story about two messed up and damaged people finding each other which I find actually kind of beautiful in a weird way, the story also has plenty of good twists and turns and heartfelt and funny moments. The characters are really good with interesting designs and strange and unique personalities, I particularly like the banter between Zack and Rachel and how they're team up grows into a realfriendship. The gameplay is okay to be honest it almost feels like more of a virtual novel game, but it does have its moments where you wander around, click on items and solve light puzzles nothing too complicated. The pixel graphic art styles good as I said with these old school pixel art games it can show that graphics aren't really important and what really is important is story, but still the graphics are good with its use of colors and designs. The levels are good each area is unique from a doctor's office to some sort of urban-esque little city area to a graveyard and it’s impossible to get lost in. The music is good each song fits the game very well. Now is this game scary, not really if you played other horror games before you won't really jump out of your seat. Okay then the dislikes, there's nothing really to dislike about this game maybe it is a bit wordy at times as again it feels more like a virtual novel and there is one thing I would have liked is if they made Rachel a bit older or Zack a bit younger that Zack is 20 and Rachel's 14, I don't know I feel like they're relationship is a little bit squiky. Although Rachel does act far older than 14 while Zack who's 20 acts more like a young teenager and It's not like they show there's any romantic feelings between the two, I don't know maybe I'm just weird and I'm picking up on something that's not there. But with all that finally finished with Angels of Death is a really good story rich, horror game that is definitely one of the best examples of classic RPG Maker style horror games like Witch's House and Mad Father, so do I recommend this game sure if you've played games like the Witch's House or Mad Father then this is a perfect game to follow up on or if you're just getting into RPG Maker horror games then this is a good starting point.
