This is a very good looking casual adventure game centred on hidden object scenes and puzzles. I enjoyed seeing a gritty modern urban environment illustrated in a game of this type. I liked the puzzle variety and difficulty, which was more difficult than average. The narrative is interesting enough – you are tasked with solving a series of murders that appear to parallel those of Jack the Ripper, and through Detective Weaver’s supersensory visions, you periodically travel back to 19th century Whitechapel to solve those crimes, providing clues to the crimes of modern Chicago. Voice acting was good. There are no Steam Achievements or Trading Cards associated with the game.
Pretty interesting puzzle game where you have to play as Angelica Weaver, a detective trying to solve a mystery. Simple and straightforward point and click hidden object puzzle game, this game had me hooked for 5 hours. Honestly get it on a sale, but if you're a fan of hidden object games, this gem is for you.
https://youtu.be/5ie-6REbJkI Far too many of the puzzles offered lack a strength of logic to make players feel like they accomplished something when completing them, instead of brute force efforts.
Thumbs down! A lot of people have had problems with needing to restart the game because of crashes. I was able to finish the game without needing to restart, but the game definitely deserves two thumbs down just for the crashes because there have been complaints about it since 2013 and MumboJumbo never actually fixed the game. There is a workaround for the crashes mentioned on the forums, but I didn’t try it. The hidden object scenes weren’t that bad, but the rest of the game isn’t that good. The story is ridiculously far-fetched. There is too much pixel hunting required to find objects. There is no instant travel map or even a regular map. You need to use weird moon logic to solve some puzzles. There are pointless collectibles scattered throughout the game and you don’t even get any Steam achievements if you find them all. This game doesn’t have any Steam achievements or trading cards. There are in-game achievements, but that’s just not the same.
a very nice HOG with a decent story and great voice acting. pros. nice story great voice acting decent puzzles bonus story decent play time (3 hours 17 minutes for the main story and 40 minutes for the bonus story) cons. sometimes it is not very clear on what to do. tho it might just been me playing while i'm tired. overall i really recommend this game due to the very nice story and the decent game play time. i give it 8/10
It is a decent hidden object game where you jump through time trying to solve murders and It has some interesting puzzles that you don’t see in every single HOG out-there.

I would have played more if I was able to, but after a short while, the game wouldn´t start anymore. Some dubious script error when starting up. Integrity file check and reinstall didn´t work, still got that message.
