Overwhelmingly bizarre beauty. Shoot, dodge, and destroy! A shmup where an apocalyptic world awakens to primal desires!

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 23 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A surprisingly accessible Shoot Em Up game that uses distorted human anatomical shapes to evoke images of angels we can't comprehend so you can shoot em for points. Pros: +Unique art style, I have never seen a game with UI like this. It's bold! +There are a lot of difficulty options and ways to play with mode Arcade modes and progressive skill modes which give you new weapons and upgrades to make the latter stages easier. + Mechanically, it's got some depth with the stamina recharge, enemy bullet deletion / movement with your sub-type shots, and it has a lot more leeway for failure and extra hits than other SHMUP's would give you. Cons: - The music is, uhh, strange. It's not bad, just kind of ill-fitting for the type of game this is. Maybe it's on purpose? Overall, I enjoyed my time with Angel at Dusk and I recommend it to people who can engage with it for newcomers to the genre or even veterans looking for something that looks fresh! 9/10, really fun game.

The thing that will hit you right away when you see this game is the unique art direction and settings. And after going through the whole adventure mode and reading all the lore text, I can say that the lore of this game is a very creative and interesting take on how humanity may evolve into after billions of years into the future, worth a read. I am not a shmup person, but from what I see from this game, I can see that the developer really wanted to make a shmup that is as beginner friendly as possible, and it works. The tutorial explains well the basic of the genre, as well as fundamentals in an informative and also quite humorous way. And from what I see from shmup fans' reviews, they do agree that this game has a really good tutorial. The gameplay itself is pretty well designed and fun to engage in. The way you charge up heavy attacks that can destroy or push enemies' projectiles away, combined with how your shot creates more benefits up close (more damage, heals you for more), create this back and forth aggression flow that I personally quite enjoy. I would say more about the level and boss design, but I'm not savvy enough with this genre, But I'd definitely say I had a good time, even when some attack patterns can feel slightly unfair. There is an arcade mode with a few levels with different difficulties, and an adventure mode that can easily get you 10 to 20 hours, and
you can unlock a final arcade level after beating the final adventure level
. The best thing about this game for me however, is the music, It is so freaking good. Every track is a certified banger. Worth getting for it alone. So yeah if any of the above sounds interesting to you, give this game a go,
