Overwhelmingly bizarre beauty. Shoot, dodge, and destroy! A shmup where an apocalyptic world awakens to primal desires!

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 23 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

First impressions of Angel at Dusk are amazing, if you're looking for a modern shmup with religous and eldrich body horror there is no reason to not just buy it right now. Pros: - THE BEST TUTORIAL IN THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF THE GENRE! Seriously if your new to shmups buy this game just to play the tutorial even if you never play it again, explains the general fundementals so well that with zero experience you could go play and understand any shmup you wanted after. - The art is so incredible, every enemy is beautifly horrific, any fan of eldrich or just creepy and very uniqe monsters designs needs to pick this one up. - The gameplay is also great, the main gimmick being the "charged shot" which can delete weak bullets or move stronger ones out of the way, I was worried about it being too easy being able to delete bullets at any time but trust me the game accounts for it, other then that it's run of the mill shmup with not many other gimmicks. (Which is a good thing) - Collision isn't a mistake! Not much to say here other then that I really like this, only shump I've play to do this and it makes me wish every game was like this, I should be punished for getting hit by bullets, not the enemy itself. - The game encourages aggression, if you lose a life the fastest way to get it back is to get right in the enemies faces, it creates a nice risk reward and allows for comebacks for long runs. - Progression is handled very well, usally you get your 1cc and are done with the game, but AAD has tons of gamemodes, difficulties, ships to unlock, and even a kind of rouge-lite rpg thingy, I'm not sure how to best discribe it but trust me it's cool. Cons: - Some unfair off screen deaths can happen with the game having a panning horizantal screen - UI is quite distracting and while I get that it was trying to fit the horror vibe it's a little too much - ships get slightly too big (don't worry your hitbox stays the same) but with some ships you're easily taking up half the screen - wall sections suck
