and Roger is an interactive novel that lets you see through the protagonist's eyes—whether what she sees makes sense or not. It is comprised of three chapters and can be played in its entirety in about one hour.
It's just another morning for this young girl. She wakes up and starts getting herself ready while shaking off the sleepiness like always. Except something, somehow, feels off.
When she steps into the living room, she expects to find her dad preparing for work. Instead, she finds a stranger sleeping on the couch.
The man wakes up, looks at the girl, and sighs. Ignoring her confusion, he mumbles to himself with a hint of sadness in his voice.
Scared, the girl runs. She must leave the house.
She doesn't know who this man is or where her father has gone.
Walk alongside her on this twisting, twisted path and see where it will lead her.

Go in blind? Sure. But honestly... knowing what this story entails doesn't lessen its impact or effectiveness in the slightest. Wonderful game.
I will mention "In His Time", the game before this game, from these developers as a reference point. I come out of this with good but still mixed feelings, but they improved the overall experience from their last game. The art and gameplay are unique-ish and were fun to play. Where they succeeded this time is with the music and "voices" of the characters. This finally worked with the tone of the text and got a few emotions out of me. Playtime is around 1-2 hours for 100%. But where my mixed feelings still stay is with the religious, Christian stuff. Less on the nose than the last game, but still very present, and at one point in the game, very off-putting for me. I am not religious at all, and some scenes are a bit weird when you can not connect with these ideologies at all, but it seems the devs are Christian, and I guess it's "normal" for them. I guess just be warned that religion comes up in this game. Still a nice game, great art and great storytelling.

Amazing little game. It genuinely left me emotional by the end. I love how it blends emotion with gameplay in a way that feels natural rather than forced. The whole experience feels surreal and memorable, and it stayed with me even after I finished it. Highly recommended.
Highly recommend this game. As someone with experience relating to the subject, I did have to step away a couple times because I was crying too hard, but it's masterfully done and fairly quick.

This is one of THE MOST UNIQUE games I've ever played. I try not to use this phrase often, but it is absolutely a work of ART. It deserves all the accolades it has been nominated for/won and I hope more comes its way. <3 The story, the gameplay, the music, etc. is an A+. Highly recommend it to those wanting a short and lovely journey. I finished it in about an hour ish or more. Very easy to pick up and get lost.
