Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 6 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

AN IOU is a beautifully written game about young people falling in love. It kinda looks like it will be a horror game but there's no monsters and no murder taking place here. There is emotional pain - that's for sure. Love always brings pain - those who ever truly loved will know. I like that the tone here is casual. Characters talk like ordinary people and nothing feels forced or fake. It gives the story a nice flow that sets a great mood right from the start. The music and sounds add to the atmosphere. Melancholy is the theme here, I think. Longing for something we can't have even if it's close enough that we could touch it... I don't normally play visual novels but I've really enjoyed this. The author Davey Cadaver is an artist and he bares a bit of his soul here. These days when everyone is trying to pretend to be something they're not that in itself is something priceless - that brutal, almost auto-biographical honesty. Yes, I think that honesty is my favourite thing about AN IOU. Thank you for making it, Davey! ;) And I really hope to see more games from you! ;)
This game was... refreshingly Human! There's indecision, mistakes, awkward moments, fear of the future, and more all neatly packed into this short but sweet visual novel <3 Many games today are very out of the box and... disconnected from Humanity, but this one was just so Human and the story was great. The art was beautiful and the characters were relatable. I was super excited upon first hearing about the game and was thrilled to have played it and discovered all the endings. There are also a lot of good references in there too! Don't think I didn't see that Blink-182!!!! Anyways! Amazing game, and I highly recommend it!

Absolutely fantastic storytelling, outstanding artwork and really cool soundtrack! I cannot wait for more content from redroomgames. as we say in Scotland BRAW!
The game is very indie and story driven. Following Trevor and his struggles as an artist trying to make a name for himself. Story is good and the game is simple. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys obscure art and a good story.
A wonderfully personal tale with believable, heartfelt dialogue and characterization. The writing is restrained, witty, and realistic. The art is both moody and stylish, perfectly suited to the story. It took absolutely no time to get invested in the narrative, regardless of how relatively low stakes the story actually is. The combination of real-life footage and stylized illustrations works and neither outstays its welcome as the story progresses. The music is a lovely collection of tracks, each suited to the scene. This really was a wonderful surprise, and I can highly recommend it whether you’re a fan of Visual Novels or not. It sincerely taps into a variety of deeply human emotions. I can’t put it into words, but I know when something is good. This is good. Get it.
最开始是被美术风格吸引的,果然还不错。喜欢游戏里贯穿始终的阴郁氛围,听得出来音乐也很用心。达成了两个结局,Divided Joy Ending和Cautionary Tale Ending,两个相比起来我更喜欢Cautionary Tale Ending,
让故事在某个瞬间戛然而止挺好的,这样就他们不用面对后面的烂摊子了。
Divided Joy Ending
Crystal Castles!!
A very artistic and emotional visual novel about a slice of life/love story between two aspiring artists. The story is told using hand-drawn sceneries interposed with black and white RL short videos. There are no voice overs, but the accompanying music is excellent (the game soundtrack can be found in the install folder) and renders perfectly the current mood in the game. (Some of the musicians have also worked on other games like Burnhouse Lane, Lorelei...) The game has multiple endings, or at least 3 given the achievements list. A first playthrough took me about 1 hour. And each time we complete the game, we are able to unlock some extra game content (drawings, game art, additional ending...). This was a very intriguing game to play, and if you are interested in art in games, you should definitely try it.
this is the first visual novel type game I have ever played, and I was not disappointed! Well written, believable characters i could relate to, and a visual style I really liked, this was fun to play (and I can't wait to play more to get the other endings!)
I really enjoyed my first playthrough of the game! The art style, music, and characters make for an enjoyable and compelling atmosphere that has me wanting to get all of the endings :)
A very well told story with incredibly likeable characters. I honestly don't want to spoil too much, just throw yourself into this story and know that Mallory is a gem!
