Simply one of the best hologames I've played ; highly recommend to holoEN fans and classic Zelda fans as well. Strong points : - Gameplay inspired by classic Zelda games. - Music, general vibes. - Story & Side Quests. - Characters are on point with holomems personality. - Dungeons were great overall (sometimes a bit short imo). - Satisfying, rewarding exploration. Weak points : - Graphics (especially for the girls models) could be more polished, but it has its charm. - The range / hitbox for the spear is a bit ridiculously precise ; no point using it after unlocking better weapons. I think it should get better when you buy the upgrade at the forge. - Main bosses were a bit too easy for me ; we could say some were lore accurate but I think the last ones could've been at least as strong as the side quests ones. Rating : 9/10 Definitely worth its price.
Great game with good mechanics, cute character interactions and quite a bit to do.
It offers a substantial amount of content for the price. The character portrayals of the Hololive members seem accurate and free of major errors. The puzzle difficulty is well-balanced, and there is a satisfying sense of progression. It is a game that can be enjoyed casually, even by those who aren't Hololive fans.
The game was a fun zelda like game. The writing and references were fantastic, I really enjoyed the dialogue and the character's interactions. (Justice for a certain somebody!) Now I don't play this type of game often, so I died a lot. This is fine and part of the learning process, however i found the contact damage to be very unforgiving and proper spacing is not that easy without a lot of practice. Other than that I didn't really have much issue with the gameplay. My biggest issue with the game is that on Steam the game sits in my library non-capitalized as 'An automaton's journey' and not 'An Automaton's Journey'. This is obviously a non-issue, but still... It was very fun even for someone not too familiar with the genre and I would definitely recommend you give it a try.
I enjoyed most of what I played, the combat gets varied as you get more tools, the writing and characters are fun. As a Holo and LoZ fan, this was right up my alley. ..but with bugs blocking progress in the game, I can't recommend it at this time. Maybe I'll come back after GG gets patched. Edit: issues have been patched
Entertaining RPG with cute characters and story.
還沒全要素,但破關了,挺有趣的小遊戲 滿推薦。
This is a pretty fun game if you like something similar to the Legend of Zelda games but with a Hololive flavor. note the enemies can get a little in your face when going around.
