A really good and kinda short sequel to Amnesia: The Dark Descend. One thing that I found disappointing is that there's far less [spoiler]objects that can be tossed around[/spoiler]. You'd think decreasing the amount would make the game more immersive as there's less nonsense, but it was the other way around, things felt a little bit like [spoiler]they were glued to desks and floors, as opposed to The Dark Descend where it felt like you really were there[/spoiler]. Can definetly recommend playing this if you liked The Dark Descend.
So, if you are hoping for an authentic Amnesia experience, this is going to be disappointing. They had a collab with another company to make this game and it just feels like they went cheap on it. The monsters are laughable. It feels like they took the original game and removed all the fun mechanics that made the game feel free.... Less immersive for sure. I will say though that I enjoyed the story and the visuals (creepy hanging meat, and the concept of the meat factory, etc.). The creepiness was there. The theme was unique. Just wanted more care put in I guess.

Good location and theme, interesting story but not as many puzzles I would recommend playing amnesia the Dark Descent and the first two penumbra games before a machine for pigs will update review after trying the Non Omnis Moriar custom story mod
This game has good lore and scares but my main issue with this game is the optimization and it is horrible. The game stutters and lags regularly. The frame drops are crazy. But the main issue is with the crashing, oh lord the CRASHING!. towards the later part of the game it almost crashes at the end of every level when it is supposed to load to the next level and it becomes impossible to continue to the next level. Not only that when you load back, it even sets you way back and u lose your progress as well. Buy this game if u are prepared for all this.
Absolute Cinema
So far, I feel less like I'm fighting for my life than I did in the original game, but in some ways I prefer what this title is doing as a sequel, even if I had hoped for a sequel that expanded on the story of the original characters more. This game nails the creepy atmosphere and the fun of figuring out what to do next without having a chase sequence every other level, I really enjoy that.
