A solid boomer shooter, a real litmus test for the average gamer. Do you like good shooters? Then you'll like this. The one thing this game has overs is its unique artstyle. Maps/enemies are varied and visually interesting, and the weapons are dripping in medieval style.
Imagine if Heretic and Quake had a baby. That is Amid Evil with a fantastic soundtrack, difficult but fair enemy and level design with some gorgeous art style decisions that make it breathtaking and very budget pc friendly. I'm bad at it but that hasn't stopped me from loving every second. If you like boomer shooters, get this game.

This Game Sucks Compared To DUSK. Its So Slow And The Puzzles Suck. New Blood Should Be Ashamed To Have This Game Under Their Name.
Quality boomer shooter. It was clear that the developers felt passionate about this game. I think that the only issue I had was that the enemies (while looking different), never really challenged you in a different way except for in the last few levels and the DLC. However, the game is still very fun to play.
Fun time + pizza was had. Game was broke but they fixed it, ending is a bit chaotic. Overall solid title.
A classic shooter throwback, with a cool fantasy aesthetic. Tremendously fun gameplay, amazing level design and variety. If you consider yourself a fan of old school shooters, this one is a guaranteed good time.
Recommended (with caveats) AMID EVIL is a decent retro shooter, but it has some highs and lows. The Good: Nailed the retro aesthetic perfectly. The final set of levels is incredibly unique, creative, and well-designed. The Bad: Level layouts can feel a bit too maze-like and confusing at times. The combat gets repetitive and loses its steam over time. Encountered a recurring glitch where I'd fall straight through moving elevator floors, costing me progress. Motion Sickness Warning: Even with the FOV adjusted and head bobbing disabled, this game triggered some bad motion sickness for me. If you are sensitive to this, buy with caution. Verdict: Worth a playthrough if you love the genre, just be prepared for a few frustrating quirks.
it takes some time to get used to and the soundtrack could be better but solid
Великолепный бумер-шутер с шикарным визуалом и саундтреком. Если нравятся шутаны типа первого Quake, то обязателен к прохождению. Берите сразу с DLC, оно даже круче оригинальной игры.
Что то типа heretic + painkiller. Уровни все разные по дизайну хоть и сильно примитивные. Местами подбешивает прыгать по платфорам над пропостью и бегать по узким извилистым дорожкам над той же пропостью. А так вполне себе хорошая игра, лучше брать по скидки, оправдает свою цену больше чем на 100% )
