It's a pretty relaxing driving game. I've been playing since 2018 and I feel its only gotten better. It's my favorite game.
Fun game...better with pedals and a wheel but still fun without.
nothing like get done driving short haul grain trucks in my state and then doing it in a video game
I bought a budget meal steering wheel (PXN V9 Gen 2) because I've been itching to play driving games, specifically truck driving, as when I was a kid, I remember playing 18 Wheels of Steel: Across America with my Logitech Momo steering wheel, and to my surprise, the devs of Wheels of Steel are the same devs of ATS & ETS2 and so I know this game is very good, and it is. I'm happy for them that their company is doing great work and is still thriving. I chose to play this ATS first, rather than ETS2, because I wanted to bring the nostalgic feeling of playing the American map just like in Wheels of Steel. But I'm also open to playing ETS2 to experience the European map once I'm done with ATS. All I can say is if you like truck driving on the American map, then this game is for you. Casual, relaxed driving, plus add the internet radio playing all 90s and 80s songs. For the best experience, I recommend playing with a steering wheel setup, additional bonus experience if you have your eye tracker/head tracker setup. As per the price and DLC, I like that devs are not greedy; in every Steam sale event, I always see they usually go about 60% to 75% off. DLCs go for 50% off, so if you are in a tight spot and budget and want to buy them all, just wait for the sale. DLCs might be overwhelming as there are a lot, but I understand that's how they keep the game alive and going. Again for best experience, buy all DLC maps. Also, a green flag for them for being open to Mods. To SCS Software, I'm happy for your success all these years. Thank you for the 18 Wheels of Steel: Across America, which became a core memory in my childhood. Wishing you guys more success on ATS and ETS2. I can highly recommend this game 100%
I am really loving this game, however being a old school truck driver myself i would love to see more older trucks i.e 4400 white western star. And I would love to weigh in and out of the places with scales on site! Hope everyone is enjoying as much as I am!🤗
its a really fun game i just wish they would add more regular cars that you can use to play the game and earn money with
It's like if trucks were real
Great Game, very realistic. I played the game before going to CDL school and it helped me understand the basics of trucking 10/10 recommend to anyone wanting to be a OTR Truck Driver
