If you've never stepped into the world of wargames, this title is surely for you. Most wargames are strategically intensive or tactically based and have some sort of serious learning curve as where this game really doesn't. It's a very basic type of wargame or strategy game that requires movement and fighting. That's about it. Most wargames will make you learn just how tough it was and have numerous menus to keep the depth of the game interesting through the time and age it was made for. American Patriots: Boston Tea Party has no realism in depth involved but it does stick to the basics of it's time. The basic graphics are quite nice and are well done as you move across the 3D map to position yourself to take out the general. Good graphics and nice sounds keep the game alive as you play. The game is pretty much a "move your units here and here" then attack. A very simple and well balanced type of basic wargame. It won't win any awards but for sure the game in it's truest basic form does what it accomplished to do. Actually it is fun. --> This game works in Manjaro Linux without any errors or issues <-- Overall the game is quite fun. This is a great start to the introduction to wargames starting at the very basic bottom level but keeps the game fun with tactile placement and movement. I recommend this game. Give it a try and check it out.
