The 3D graphics are decent the only halfway decent thing about the game yet they remain bland and soulless. The setting actually held promise, even though the intro is rushed through in barely a minute with two generic sentences, upon which the "plot" laboriously tries to weave a "horror" tale. In reality, it relies on "click-click" photography that freezes the already sluggish action, alongside hackneyed jump scares so cliché they’d make clichés blush. Good Lord, that abysmal mechanic of taking random photos which slows the game down even further while the protagonist moves as if hopping on one leg with an asthma attack would test the patience of a saint. Less than fifteen minutes in, and the final nail is driven into the coffin of this tedious *Amenti*. There are scattered notes conveniently placed, of course that recount the backstory (since there is no actual narrative direction) of a rookie explorer chased by an evil spirit or curse while wandering the ruins of the pyramids. Oh my, how strange and mysterious. Such high-quality, original storytelling, as you can see.

Very short but good horror game especially cause of the unused setting.

Your basic 1st person, Unreal Engine built horror game. Here's a few things to know before purchase: 1. It's short and linear with a playtime as long as an hour and a half. 2. No alt Endings. 3. It has a few puzzles, but nothing complex and most of it leads you where you need to go. All in all, for the price and the experience, it's pretty good! I'll give it a solid 8 bc it sold itself well, which a lot of games miss with me. I knew what it was going in and I got my dollar's worth!

This was just a walking sim with a couple jumpscares and tedious puzzles. the setting was nice and the audio was well designed. graphics are good, the game just requires SOUL.

I've seen weird egyptian murals towards the end of the game and they looked all warped up and non sensical and they were clearly made by AI. It really put a sour note on a horror game I found pretty spooky. I wouldn't have been able to know if it looked good but if you take a second to look at some murals to like be immersed in the vibe of the game the hieroglyph are garbage nonsense and ugly. I wish at least the dev disclosed it on the page, It's not cool, be honest. Steam requires it. I don't want to see that kind of art. I feel tricked and considering a refund.

wow way better than expected .. one or two effects/sounds could have been more decent (dunno if thats the correct word) but overall very good .. also, i love all the surroundings! i d call it a mystery exploration trip with slight creepness .. in VR it would be a blast
