Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Jul 31 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

AAAHHHHHHHHHHH

Was ich dann doch recht schade fand.
Addicting game! It’s so cute and quite substantial.
Absolutely obsessed with the love and passion poured into this game. It isn't just about popular dinosaurs and shows love to some that many people probably don't even know exist! I was floored to see a sinosauropteryx in the intro cutscene on my first boot-up and he's one of my favorite characters. I cannot recommend this game enough, it's addicting for even those who usually don't enjoy these kind of games.
Okay I really wanted to like this one as I think it has a lot of potential, but the controls actually made this a nightmare. Neither keyboard/mouse nor controller is fully sufficient or fun, I found myself having to use both to actually play. The game just feels clunky and underbaked. During the shop hour(s), you are tasked with cleaning up messes, but where you stand doesn't always register what you're cleaning. Many times during dialog, the camera is stuck in a corner or at a weird angle so I see the speech bubble but no characters. The core gameplay loop of collecting items to craft items to sell them is good- but the camera & controls made that somewhat annoying too. Decorating the store and/or the different biomes definitely has potential, but it felt like the systems were not fully thought out. A lot of times you would upgrade something in an area without knowing what it would do, and then see you've either placed a random bench or unlocked 2 patches of dirt to dig & get dirt... not like fun, obvious, visual or gameplay upgrades that feel meaningful & like you're making progress. The looping dialog of characters during the store hour(s) also got really old really fast. The whole 'bargaining' or trying to agree on a price mechanic was more annoying than fun and sometimes didn't even make any sense (character asks for a price to buy higher than what you had it listed?? so you just click yes?). I also found it tedious to have to open the journal so much to track if you had any orders (since you can't pin those like quests). I just think the systems overall need a lot of attention for this to be really good.
Things I don't mind: Animal Crossing vibes 100% especially the whole building a town up from nothing and owing money to a towns-member. Things I like: The massive character creator design menu. I spent a good chunk of time there and eventually started to use edits of randomized characters because it started to become overwhelming. The art/art style both 3 and 2D. This is a game I would consider purchasing an artbook for.(Edit: purchasing the Artbook soundtrack and starter pack wombo combo while it's $9 USD right now, normally the three would be $23 USD rounded down w/o tax - artbook alone is $5....I want the better value) Cozy vibes, but it's really difficult to enjoy them and get into the game when....(see follow up) Things I strongly dislike: 1) Atrocious camera angle and movement controls - specifically moving around the outside of your shop. 2) Intensive long tutorial. I felt locked into tutorial mode for an hour with long monologuing texts to read. Simply not my thing. 3) After the tutorial, I stored one of the custom requested items in the designated box. The character came up to the counter and requested their item. Where was it? In the box. The box designated for custom items...but they came to the counter and asked for it. I was not aware I needed to have a copy in my active inventory. Not happy Bob, not happy. 4) EVERY customer on my first day went to haggle item prices. I have not changed the item prices at all. Since I was unable to clean the store and address every customer...one left angry and dropped the item. This is not how you treat day 1 after a 'holding the player's hand for hours' tutorial. DO NOT BUY AT FULL PRICE. You can have the same Animal Crossing experience with, well Animal Crossing.
Gameplay Genre: Shopkeep/restoration Story Genre: Coming of age, small town rejuvenation Story/Gameplay Ratio: 1:2 **Gameplay** Ideas: 7/10 | Pretty standard fare for the genre in its base concepts (collect resources, craft items, sell items, complete side quests), but an interesting way of organizing them. Execution: 3/10 | I can see that the structures are there, but to be honest with you, this game can often feel like a big pile of bugs, and it's lacking in polish in a LOT of places. I think it needed more time, it feels unfinished. Also gets very laggy at times. **Story** Ideas: 8/10 | The story itself is pretty standard, but the worldbuilding is what brings this score up. You really do get a sense that there's an entire complex world outside the island, and those worldbuilding details are well thought through. Execution: 9/10 | Some phenomenal writing, even if it is very silly at times. The main story is well constructed and interestingly written, and individual character stories bump into each other and flow together wonderfully. **Characters** Ideas: 10/10 | A genuinely fantastic cast of complex, interesting, diverse characters, with plenty of variation in personality while still keeping everyone cartoony enough to fit the world. Execution: 8/10 | Very fun and engaging character interactions with both the player and between NPCs. Their personalities come through clearly, and each and every one of them- even the grumpy ones- comes off with a lovely charm. Especially Kipper. I would blow up the planet for Kipper. **Visuals & Sounds** Ideas: 8/10 | Adaptive music in my favorite form (instruments changing fluidly depending on area while the tune stays the same) coupled with an adorable cartoony art style that fits the goofiness of the world seamlessly. Execution: 10/10 | One of the *precious* few games with a combination of 2D and 3D art that doesn't have an absurd gap in quality between the two- both the sprites and the models look fantastic (and grounded in real paleontology)! Every character's personality and occupation is wonderfully communicated by their design. And the avian dinos have feathers! Cohesiveness: 8/10 | Consistent themes throughout, though occasionally some characters feel anachronistic. Personal Favor: 9/10 | I had a ton of fun, despite the bugs. Plus the characters are so, so, *so* good. **OVERALL RATING:** 7/10 (were it more polished, it would be a 9)
a down right adorable game. love the customizing that you can do and how adorable the peleofolk are. this is a game i would 100% recommend
