I don't think Peter J. Favaro understands the true complexity of the human mind. Many choices I made straight up wouldn't work or, worse still, resulted in a screen that essentially told me I was wrong. This is a very bare-bones life simulator and extremely dated. Pass it up unless you have nostalgia for the 80's.
the guy who wrote this game is a cis- and hetero-normative hack whose biases and lack of aptitude regarding child-rearing couldn't be clearer, letters after his name or no. I'd hesitate to call this "game" a "choose-your-own-adventure" on the basis that none of the "choices" presented result in any major differences playing out over the course the game. The narrative presented fails to present anything besides the author's preferred narrative regarding events and their potential outcomes, admonishing the player for even trying to find nuance in his black-and-white world. It's honestly a disgusting piece of literature, all told, I'm very impressed.

This game is dated and needs to be updated in it's content. Much of it does not match with modern times at all.
Old but fun :)
a modern skin for an 1986 game. very nice and i liked this game worth the 8 bucks
I really do like this game. It's good and is a real-life simulation. I would rate it an 11 out of 10! :D
I played this over a decade ago, and kept failing. Got abducted by a child predator, died by eating rat poison, etc. First time playing it again got the ultimate ending, became master businessman, two children, loving marriage. Not really that much reason to play the game after that though.
ok
This game is fun enough for the price (I believe I bought it on sale). It is definitely outdated and some of the results of the choices you make don't make sense to me. It's a lot of black and white scenarios. It's interesting, but I'm not sure how exciting it will be to play and click through several times in a row.
I remember playing this on my Commodore 64 and it's odd becuase I was thinking about the game not long before I found it here on Steam. I just had to buy it for nostalga sake. Yes the game is dated, it was made over 30 years ago (yeah I'm old...) so don't expect it to be up to date with popluar culture etc. The game is basically excatly the way I remembered it, but they did update the graphics and make things look nicer, but the core gameplay is the same. People today aren't going to 'get' this game I don't think, but some might and might actually enjoy it. I sat down to play it just out of curiousty and it's 2 hours later, so it can be interesting to play. There are plenty of choices and it does offer a lot of replayability. I can recommend it, especially if you played the original, it brought back fond memories of my childhood, that's for sure...
