Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.71/day in the week to Aug 8 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
A trilha sonora é outro ponto alto. Muitas vezes ela passa quase despercebida, até surgir aquele sax absurdo que simplesmente rouba a cena. A estrutura é bastante linear e, em diversos momentos, me lembrou Resident Evil 4.

It felt like everything took ages to do. Maybe I wasn't the audience. It was atmospheric and looked good, but everything else felt too slow, especially the dialogue.
Alone in the dark 2024 is a great game and as a big time survival horror game fan this is must buy its a great remake of a game that is to survival horror what mario is to 2d platformers and what wofenstein is to fps games this game was here to pay homage to a legendary title. story. Sometime in the 1930s Louisiana, private investigator Edward Carnby accompanies Emily Hartwood to Derceto Manor, a remote sanatorium, after Emily receives a disturbing letter from her missing uncle, Jeremy Hartwood. Jeremy, a once-renowned artist, had been receiving treatment at Derceto, but his message hints at danger and urges Emily to stay away. Upon arrival, Edward and Emily find Jeremy missing and the manor filled with signs of unrest among both patients and staff.[a] As they search for Jeremy within the compound, they uncover evidence of a secretive voodoo-influenced cult operating within the institution. Their investigation leads them into hidden passages and eventually into nightmarish alternate realities, accessed through a talisman that belonged to Jeremy. These realms, which represent twisted reflections of the real world, manifest Jeremy's deteriorating mind and are populated by monstrous, surreal creatures that warp the logic of space and architecture. Along the way, they encounter a strange masked entity called the Dark Man. Throughout the journey, Edward confronts his mounting guilt toward Grace Saunders, a young resident of Derceto whom he once failed to protect on a previous case. The resurfacing of his memories intensifies as the supernatural influences of the manor grow stronger. Meanwhile, Emily struggles with deep emotional wounds from the death of her husband in World War I, a loss that the eldritch visions exploit to break her resolve. The investigation reveals that Jeremy has made a desperate pact with the Dark Man in exchange for forbidden knowledge and artistic “inspiration.” Jeremy trapped fragments of his consciousness in a submerged dream-temple within his own mind. A battle ensues with a monstrous creature in the alternate world, and after defeating it by stabbing it in the left eye, it is revealed to be Jeremy in the real world. The result of the incident leaves him lobotomized. Ultimately, both the patients and staff of Derceto are revealed to be cult members and are preparing a final ritual centred around a corrupted “wish tree” in the conservatory, intending to summon a cosmic being known as the Mother or Black Goat. Gameplay. You get the option to play as either Edward and Emily and depending which character you play as you get to experience the story from different perspective which is great i played as Edward on my play through. The action is in the over the shoulder perspective which i prefer to fix camera angle or aka tank controls you have many puzzles to solve which is how a survival horror game should be and not focus heavily on action speaking of action you will encounter a range of Grotesque creatures to deal with or try to avoid depending on you're playstyle you only get a few weapons to deal with these enemies with a pistol, flaregun, shotgun and a tommygun and a range of melee weapons that have durability bar and some throwable items to use aswell you also have special items you can collect and you can only find certain items depending on which character you play as there is also a new game plus option after completing the story which adds to the replayability of the game. Sound and voice acting. The voice acting in the game is great i enjoyed learning more about jeremys fall in maddness and and interacting with the strange inhabbitants of Derceto also the banter between Edward and emily was a treat to play entering the twister worlds the creepiness and loniness of exploring these strange worlds was amazing. Pros and cons. A great remake of a truely ground breaking game from 1992 the visuals look great the voice acting sound effects the exploration the puzzles i enjoyed all of it Cons.I experienced many stuttering issues which were down right annoying also a strange sound glitch where the sound sounded like it was lagging even though the game was running great at that time i had to quit out and it seemed to solve it i dont know why it happends but its was annoying lastly the last boss looks great really Grotesque but was a chore to fight a massive difficulty spike everything up to the final boss was great but seriously that boss was trash to fight against. Final verdict. This game is great except for a few issues and that last boss which i mentioned before was trash to fight go buy this game and experience a great survival horror experience by the game that started it all which went on to inspire the likes of resident evil ,silent hill and evil within. Rating 8/10.
Guys, I tried. I promise you, I tried. This game has nothing to do with the original Alone in the Dark. I am very sorry to say this, but avoid it at all costs. Nothing pulls you back into the game. Nothing makes you wonder what's next. The puzzles are mediocre, and nearly every riddle revolves around the same disc and numbers. The world feels empty, and the monsters feel irrelevant. And the combat... well, let's just say there is no combat. This game is all about product and PR. Studios must learn that including celebrities is a total waste of time if the game IS NOT FUN. I wish they had used their resources on the actual game before spending a fortune on David Harbour and Jodie Comer. Pathetic.
bad combat, bad optimization, bad execution, story feels good at start tho, probably because of source material.
I need the key.
the game caused my processor to overheat even though its new during gameplay the processor temperature reached 95 degresse
