Lediglich die Texte sind nicht ganz so deutlich zu erkennen, es war aber noch möglich alles zu verstehen,ohne raten zu müssen was dort stand. Hier erleben wir die Geschichte einer Königstochter und erfahren schon am Anfang, dass sie eigentlich eine Meerjungfrau ist. Sie verfolgt zuerst einen Dieb, der das königliche Artefakt gestohlen hat, der anschliessend ihr Weggefährte wird, später gesellt auch noch ein Seepferdchen dazu, welches sie über ihre Vergangenheit aufklärt und an deren Seite das weitere Abenteuer bestreitet. Das Spiel macht Spaß, obwohl ein Runden- oder Zeitlimit fehlt. Wir sind viel damit beschäftigt ein Level abzuschließen, was schon mal länger dauern kann, ohne langweilig zu werden und das ist viel wert. Jedes Level hat eine vorgegebene Aufgabe. Mal müssen wir Ketten Sprengen dann Kacheln entfernen, mal bestimmte Anzahl einer Sorte Spielsteine sammeln. Ab und an erscheint ein Teil auf dem Feld, welches ständig seine Form wechselt. Klickt man im richtigen Moment darauf, verwandelt es sich in einen eventuell benötigten Stein. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2886744510 Durch das erledigen von Aufgaben erhalten wir verschiedene Teile als Belohnungen. Mit diesen können wir in den Pausen zwischen den Leveln einkaufen. Entweder schalten wir im Tausch für Sterne ein nächstes Kapitel in der Geschichte frei, kaufen ein Hilfsmittel für Artefakte und freigespielte Kacheln, die in den Leveln eingesetzt werden, oder erwerben für Juwelen neue Kleidungsstücke für Allura. Die Geschichte, die uns erzählt wird, ist ziemlich interessant. Ich empfehle, die Level immer soweit zu spielen, bis das Spiel den Hinweis gibt, alle vier Teile eines Kapitels der Geschichte zuerst zu erwerben. So wird ein größerer Brocken Geschichte erzählt, was das Ganze interessanter macht, als immer nur ein Häppchen zu bekommen. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2886744551 Die Hilfsmittel gibt es viele im Spiel, sie werden wie oben erwähnt nach und nach freigekauft. Sie müssen aber natürlich aufgeladen werden. Dies geschieht indem wir 4-er und 5-er Kombinationen bilden, oder einfach zwei 3-er gleichzeitig. Kettenrektionen zählen da nicht mit. So laden wir das Energiebecken auf, wenn es einen bestimmten Füllstand erreicht hat, sind entsprechende Hilfsmittel bereit. Grafisch ist das ganze schön verpackt, wie man es von e-Funsoft Games bisher gewohnt ist und hat mir gut gefallen. Yeah it's an okay match 3 game. The graphics look a little old and they don't have the best voice acting for the story scenes but the gameplay is solid and can be very difficult later on. What I did like was that you could buy your tools (remove a block, remove 5 blocks horizontal, remove 5 blocks vertical, etc. up to the big bomb that destroys half the board but takes forever to charge.) and choose which ones you want to buy instead of being forced to buy them in order. So if you see a particular tool that you think would be helpful then you can save up your currency to buy it when you're able. I like that. You can only have 3 of the tools out at a time, and they have to be charged by matching 4 and 5 in a row. Really powerful tools take a lot of matches to power up. I played untimed or else the game is untimed, I can't remember if there was a choice or not at the beginning. Untimed is a pro for me because I can take my time trying to find a match in a hard spot and I don't feel a timer looming over me. I suppose it could be a con for those who like a challenge and like timed games. Music and sound effects are decent. Nothing special. There are a lot of story scenes for fans of story. All in all it's a solid 3 out of 5. Not the best match 3 but not the worst.

Allura: Curse of the Mermaid is a badly made mobile-tier match-3 puzzle game with old, dead match-3 gameplay and a mermaid/underwater theme. I couldn't find this on the app stores so maybe it was removed. Apple and Google have quality control where Valve doesn't. This is pretty bad even as far as mobile match-3 games go, with some pretty bad artwork. HH-Games once more show us they're capable of nothing but cash grabs, as this mobile app has a whopping $6 price tag, just so you can pretend your PC is an iPhone and play the kind of mobile game that's free everywhere else.

In this video I take a look at Allura: Curse of the Mermaid, a match-3 game from eFunsoft and HH-Games. It's been a while since I have played an HH-Games match three and this title is a terrific one to come back to. A great product, although they do like to use stills for the cut scenes. If there was a meh button, I would have gone for that one. The things I liked in that one game was how the bonus worked, you had to buy them and select three that you would use (you can change those whenever you wanted, which was pretty cool). Of course some of those bonus were useful all the time while others were there for the show, the cost of the last ones for example was so high that anyway I was done before the orb would be filled enough to use them. The story was meh, but at least there was one and honestly the cheap part was the match 3. There was nothing "interesting" nor new there, so if you're going in there for that, it worth any other very basic match 3 game.
