About
AYW Pro Manager is a pro-wrestling management sim. You take control of a company and then everything is on your shoulders. You build a roster (hire, fire, suspend, deal with contracts), you create events in different locations and book shows, and most importantly - try not to get fired!
AYW Pro Manager is a professional wrestling management game that puts YOU front and center. You are responsible for creating a world class roster. You can make transfer and loan offers for rival talent, you offer contracts (inc bonuses and merchandise cuts), you book shows and so much more. The game is packed with features and decisions for you to make.
Once you have decided on a company to take charge of from the 30 available (and more to follow), you should check out the boardroom. Here, you can see the trust level of not only the board of directors, but also the fans and the TV companies. If the level of trust drops below a certain level then you receive a warning. 3 warnings and you are fired. You then have to take over another company, with a fresh batch of stars.
Don't worry though, you have a helpful assistant who will give you tips along the way. Maya can be found on your dashboard and she will deliver messages to your inbox, as well as weekly and monthly reports. The boardroom shows a snapshot of your place in the wrestling world. Your position will be updated at the beginning of each month. Just remember - the board are watching and if you fail to improve your position, the board will likely mention this at your end of year performance review (yes, this does actually happen!!)
When you are familiar with your roster, you can book some shows! Create event takes you to a screen where you choose a name, a date, time, location (anything from gyms through to town halls and stadiums) and choose an image for your show (you can even upload your own).

You need to create some storylines and ensure these are featured on your shows if you want to aim for those high ratings and ticket sales. Ticket sales will update as and when you book your shows and you can see these updating on the events screen.
During shows, you are behind the curtain making decisions in real time. Before the event starts, you can add time to a match or you can delete a segment from the card altogether if you wish.
When the event begins, you can check how each segment is performing with the commentary and reaction that takes place during the segment and also the crowd momentum will help guide any decisions.
There is a wide variety of matches to choose from in AYWPM. In fact, there are over 100 different matches. You can also book exactly how a match will finish. Ref takes a bump? You got it. Chair shot after a run-in by a wrestler (of your choice)? You got it. Avalanche finisher into a submission? Why not?
You can also book from a range of promos/angles, including a face off, a contract signing and many more. Another unique feature is the ability to add an advert to your show. This will gain money for your company (the longer the ad, the more money you receive) however, this will really annoy the fans.
Your roster will make or break your career.
Handy filters will help you organise your stars and see where you may need to hire. When dealing with wrestlers, you will have to deal with contracts, morale, pushes, gimmicks, problems, problems and more problems. This is a wrestling promotion after all!
Your top star is tired? Send them on holiday (this will cost you). Want to test a wrestler for drugs? Order a drug test. Need to suspend? You can do that too (and also decide if you will suspend with pay or without pay). This is just a small snippet of your roster.
The board is always watching.
As you take charge of your company, you are in charge of everything, including;
building a roster
making transfer offers for rival talent
contract offers and renewals
booking shows
creating storylines
running the academy
viewing and accepting sponsorships
viewing and accepting TV deals
and so much more!
This is where All Your Wrestling Pro Manager truly comes alive.
Your inbox is the hub of the game. You will receive updates from your assistant Maya here, with handy tips and weekly and monthly reports. In AYW Pro Manager, you will also see a vast array of weird and wacky messages to keep your interest. You will need to react to your roster and follow up on any promises you make. Your inbox is your hub.
Use the academy to bring through new prospects and shape the next generation of your roster. You decide which member of staff will have the huge task of being crowned 'Academy Head Coach' and take charge of your rising stars. You will receive a new batch of stars every January and you must decide to release or call up your academy stars. You can also decide on one star to put a lot of focus on, so choose wisely.
Update - the academy is getting an upgrade. It was already fantastic but why stop there? In the upcoming update, you can run shows in the academy and check out how your academy stars are performing. Who is flying towards a contract? Who is buckling under the pressure?
In AYW Pro Manager, you are in charge of the company's finances. Get a TV deal that covers different parts of the world, accept sponsorship deals (that have obligations you need to meet) and take a look at those merchandise figures (you can give wrestlers a cut of these if you are feeling generous). Merch sales are reported in the end of show report and you can see who is shifting units and how much you are making from them.
Be careful who you accept sponsorship deals from though - your fans may not be too pleased and your fan rating can take a nosedive. Also, when you do accept sponsors you need to keep them happy and the sponsors will have certain demands that you have to meet. A fine will follow if you don't keep your end of the deal.
AYW Pro Manager includes a built-in editor for customizing wrestlers, companies, championships, shows, venues, teams, relationships, and game-world imagery. The editor is a strong piece of the game that will enable you to create your own universe and download it. You can then share it with the world as you also have the ability to upload other peoples game worlds. Easy to use, database uploads.

This is a strange one for me... Because honestly i haven't really enjoyed the game thus far. Buuuuut, that's kind of on me. I was hoping for some more automation in the game, but the developer makes no promises about that being the case. You have to manually do everything, from booking, to storyline development, to signing a ton of staff, to creating each individual event. You have to manage every wrestlers contract, their egos, and their basic needs, plus the staff as well. That's why, even though i think this game isn't for me, i still can't say i wouldn't recommend it for someone who does like a very complete wrestling promoter simulator. They really did think of everything, and the menu screens are very polished. While i will continue hoping that the game receives an update that gives me the experience i want from the game, i know i won't be putting much more time into it for now. It would be nice if when hiring a head booker that they actually booked the matches. Office employees that assist with contract negotiations. I understand that developing this level of AI assistance could take some time, but i really think the Dev should consider it for a more approachable experience. i wouldn't recommend this game for anyone looking for a GM mode experience similar to the 2k series, or even fire pro wrestling. This is a game for a very thorough type of player. Hope that helps in your decision.

I remember the time when TEW also had missing portraits, and a lot of missing fetures that the new games in the genre like this one have. My biggest question is why the developer released it in 1.0, and didn't released it Early Access? Missing characters images, don't remember if there were bios, at all. Missing feutres which might be classic but are good to have in a wrestling manager games, like specifiying what the promo is - is it a video package, a wrestler talking about a match or other wrestler. You can't see what the promotion you "takeover" is about - can't see the roster, etc. Also we don't have a pool of talents from around the world, unemployed and waiting to be shortlisted or signed (or I haven't find that feature). There are some great new features like ads segments, fillers, #1 contender postion in the titles tab, cool art (where available). Also, it's a whole, expanding wrestling universe, created by the developer's imagination, which something I like (as in TEW or Pro Wrestling Sim), and there are a lot of characters to like and to inspire you to book. It's a game with potential and I am keeping it and will follow closely how it expands. There are more promotions promised, and so much more to be added, so I will wait and use what is available to book. It's a really promising game, that I personaly enjoy.
