About
AYW Pro Manager is a pro-wrestling management sim. You take control of a company and then everything is on your shoulders. You build a roster (hire, fire, suspend, deal with contracts), you create events in different locations and book shows, and most importantly - try not to get fired!
AYW Pro Manager is a professional wrestling management game that puts YOU front and center. You are responsible for creating a world class roster. You can make transfer and loan offers for rival talent, you offer contracts (inc bonuses and merchandise cuts), you book shows and so much more. The game is packed with features and decisions for you to make.
Once you have decided on a company to take charge of from the 30 available (and more to follow), you should check out the boardroom. Here, you can see the trust level of not only the board of directors, but also the fans and the TV companies. If the level of trust drops below a certain level then you receive a warning. 3 warnings and you are fired. You then have to take over another company, with a fresh batch of stars.
Don't worry though, you have a helpful assistant who will give you tips along the way. Maya can be found on your dashboard and she will deliver messages to your inbox, as well as weekly and monthly reports. The boardroom shows a snapshot of your place in the wrestling world. Your position will be updated at the beginning of each month. Just remember - the board are watching and if you fail to improve your position, the board will likely mention this at your end of year performance review (yes, this does actually happen!!)
When you are familiar with your roster, you can book some shows! Create event takes you to a screen where you choose a name, a date, time, location (anything from gyms through to town halls and stadiums) and choose an image for your show (you can even upload your own).

You need to create some storylines and ensure these are featured on your shows if you want to aim for those high ratings and ticket sales. Ticket sales will update as and when you book your shows and you can see these updating on the events screen.
During shows, you are behind the curtain making decisions in real time. Before the event starts, you can add time to a match or you can delete a segment from the card altogether if you wish.
When the event begins, you can check how each segment is performing with the commentary and reaction that takes place during the segment and also the crowd momentum will help guide any decisions.
There is a wide variety of matches to choose from in AYWPM. In fact, there are over 100 different matches. You can also book exactly how a match will finish. Ref takes a bump? You got it. Chair shot after a run-in by a wrestler (of your choice)? You got it. Avalanche finisher into a submission? Why not?
You can also book from a range of promos/angles, including a face off, a contract signing and many more. Another unique feature is the ability to add an advert to your show. This will gain money for your company (the longer the ad, the more money you receive) however, this will really annoy the fans.
Your roster will make or break your career.
Handy filters will help you organise your stars and see where you may need to hire. When dealing with wrestlers, you will have to deal with contracts, morale, pushes, gimmicks, problems, problems and more problems. This is a wrestling promotion after all!
Your top star is tired? Send them on holiday (this will cost you). Want to test a wrestler for drugs? Order a drug test. Need to suspend? You can do that too (and also decide if you will suspend with pay or without pay). This is just a small snippet of your roster.
The board is always watching.
As you take charge of your company, you are in charge of everything, including;
building a roster
making transfer offers for rival talent
contract offers and renewals
booking shows
creating storylines
running the academy
viewing and accepting sponsorships
viewing and accepting TV deals
and so much more!
This is where All Your Wrestling Pro Manager truly comes alive.
Your inbox is the hub of the game. You will receive updates from your assistant Maya here, with handy tips and weekly and monthly reports. In AYW Pro Manager, you will also see a vast array of weird and wacky messages to keep your interest. You will need to react to your roster and follow up on any promises you make. Your inbox is your hub.
Use the academy to bring through new prospects and shape the next generation of your roster. You decide which member of staff will have the huge task of being crowned 'Academy Head Coach' and take charge of your rising stars. You will receive a new batch of stars every January and you must decide to release or call up your academy stars. You can also decide on one star to put a lot of focus on, so choose wisely.
Update - the academy is getting an upgrade. It was already fantastic but why stop there? In the upcoming update, you can run shows in the academy and check out how your academy stars are performing. Who is flying towards a contract? Who is buckling under the pressure?
In AYW Pro Manager, you are in charge of the company's finances. Get a TV deal that covers different parts of the world, accept sponsorship deals (that have obligations you need to meet) and take a look at those merchandise figures (you can give wrestlers a cut of these if you are feeling generous). Merch sales are reported in the end of show report and you can see who is shifting units and how much you are making from them.
Be careful who you accept sponsorship deals from though - your fans may not be too pleased and your fan rating can take a nosedive. Also, when you do accept sponsors you need to keep them happy and the sponsors will have certain demands that you have to meet. A fine will follow if you don't keep your end of the deal.
AYW Pro Manager includes a built-in editor for customizing wrestlers, companies, championships, shows, venues, teams, relationships, and game-world imagery. The editor is a strong piece of the game that will enable you to create your own universe and download it. You can then share it with the world as you also have the ability to upload other peoples game worlds. Easy to use, database uploads.

I fell in love with this game so fast its unreal, I have been waiting for a Wrestling Manager game that looks like FM. Already hard at work making a mod too. I don't normally do public mods, but that's how much I like this game and want it to succeed.

So. I'm not a stranger to wrestling management/booking sims, and enjoyed efedding back in the day, as well as the playstation/xbox range of wrestling games. Plus long time wrassling fan in general. I love the twist this game has of the managing the show. I always thought the most fun was the creating and booking, but its suprisingly fun feeling like you are at gorrila making the calls, dealing with the fires while the show runs. The first time Ive really come across a game that features the running of the show rather than just the booking, I never played the original Adame Ryland game, but am a big fan of the TEW series, but this game scratches a different itch. The dev has been incredibly active and reactive, making changes, refreshing things, and implementing ideas. And I cant wait to see how this game develops. The running the live show is quite different, and has changed for the better in the short time i have played the game, but I've found it a tonne of fun. And while the price isnt low, low, I think for my money its well worth the price. I quite like the dev didnt go the early access route, but is making changes and is quite open to ideas from the community. Reading their posts, and theyre a wrestling fan, which is a cool thing to, doesnt feel like a bait and switch or cash grab. I think even non wrestling fans will enjoy this too. Take your place at gorilla, and call the shots with this gem of a game.
not there yet....at all...editing crashed a lot for me.
This wrestling manager game is extremely well thought out and offers a great challenge, which I really enjoy. I've been very pleasantly surprised by how fast and meaningful the updates have been. I also love how much freedom you get to build your own universe and really let your creativity run wild. Greetings from Germany — keep up the awesome work!
This is nothing but a positive review...from the developer being so keen on getting updates and improving the game to the gameplay its self. The manager style is amazing and there is no much to do and explore....getting fed up of booking your own shows...hire a head booker...want the backroom staff to suggest a storyline...hire a writer. Be careful though having the head booker to only focus on superpower and champions will impact moral. Events Dont be thinking just because you have booked what looks like the perfect show all will go well. With the gorilla position there is lots going on...listen to the crowd, listen to the commentators because they are key to seeing if what you have created is working. Also a massive part of the game for me personally. With real live events there can be issues from the crowd getting into trouble, to props going missing. Its now your call to decide what to do next and how this impacts the show. For example I had my champion cut a promo we lost the prop (the title) I had to make the decision to run an ad to try and find it or run the program as normal. I love the idea. Staff can have two roles so you want you chairman to be a manager or show GM not a problem. Sign TV deals, sponsors but make sure you stick with the terms and conditions. There is so much more to come as well, this game has been out for weeks not months and it already has so much to offer. What's to come...academy and hiring staff to run low end shows to help promote the youth and many more future features. I can not recommend this game enough. Please support the developer and have fun. I have completed a couple of videos check them out at @Projectstreaming on YouTube. Enjoy
Hot diggity. How's that for a reactive Dev. And already vastly improved. Still needs some love (will list in the comment my suggestions). But a dev that takes it, fixes it, and deploys that fast? The Pro Wrestling Sim world is in trouble. ---- ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW --- This one falls into "Nearly Incredible" but just has a few UI choices missing that make it not there yet (And where you wish Steam would add a neutral rating) Visually the layouts are nice. And everything seems very clear on what does what and how to proceed etc. The main issue falls into "what is missing" and thats where some UI decisions are a little annoying/off-putting. For example, on the Card Roles screen, there's no filtering. Meaning you can't choose between Genders to see how well balanced you are. On the Roster Page, there's no screen system that seemingly allows you to quickly decide who are your best talkers, in ring generals, or those who might show promise to push. On the booking screen, if you're trying to add an angle you don't have any real way of seeing who the best talkers are, or best ring workers for match booking etc. Consider that not everyone necessarily wants to have to jot this stuff down, or might be on laptops or just want to have quick pick-up-and-play capability to it. Solve those issues and I think this would go up very quickly in the rankings of Wrestling Booking sims. But for now, just a little off in terms of getting that info to the player to get through reviewing everything. Will certainly be keeping an eye on updates to see what gets added/addressed as it goes though
