Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Feels like real time X-COM, the only downside is that I did have several crashes 4-5 but overall it was a great experience.
Outstanding game, and about as good as modern Aliens games get. Probably up there with Alien: Isolation and Aliens: Fireteam Elite. An incredibly immersive experience that perfectly captures the vibe, with a solid story and both stress management and hunt/onslaught mechanics that keep tension high. I haven't been this immersed in a tactical RPG-lite since the first Darkest Dungeon.

Just beat the game, the 84 hours is a lot of AFK id say it took me about 30-40 hours. I gotta say the gameplay is the highlight of the game and is very engaging. It Does a very good job with the tension while you have control of your marines. You actually try to avoid fighting as much as you can and when the fighting breaks out a lot of times i found myself running trying to find a safe area or just flat out leaving the area. Using abilities like your sniper shot w silencer are a game changer. You also have to manage your resources as well. The customization is pretty cool, I would love if this game had some kind of rarity loot or Like maybe a "rare marine" or rare weapons that exploration or boss fights had to beat to acquire. That would of been the cherry on top. (Maybe in Dark Descent 2???) Now the story i thought was mids. Like its alright.. maybe a 6/10 nothing special. The characters are just flat out awful IMO. The main character and even the secondary characters are so annoying, really towards the end of the game, Just super cringy stuff like "im gonna go save this one person even though it might cost the lives of thousands of people and nobody is stopping me" "OK lets do it.." like what??? lol but other then that great game. I would say about 70% into the game it really gets intense with the gameplay and it is a pretty challenging game. The ending did feel a little rushed but it does set it up for a second game. I would for sure tell people to check this game out.
I got the game and just WOW! AMAZING! I like the squad based system, and tools, and stress levels stuff it adds so much dynamics! This is for sure worth picking up, though i did get it during the time it is on sale.
Surprised to find out that I like this! It is very clumsy in a lot of ways. The UE4 cut scenes are cringe-worthy. The writing is honestly kind of awful. And there are definitely some bugs still that apparently will never get fixed. But it is a great Aliens (2nd movie) crossed with X-Com but mostly realtime tactics game. It's very engaging. The graphics are pretty good for the type of game. The sound fx and music is pretty OK. The game mechanics are pretty good though it took me a few hours to get the hang of it. Do yourself a favor and don't quit right away if you're struggling with those. Though also do yourself a favor and maybe skip all cut-scenes! The roguelite management of marines and crew is actually pretty good! Overall it's a recommendation so long as you can handle frankly awful writing (and a few bugs). I hate to diss the 3 people who handled the writing and scripts, but it's kind of surprising that they put so much effort into this, on a game derived from an amazing movie with great writing, and then came up with this. I think there were dozens of other team members. Not surprised that the game was shelved without the money to finish fixing the bugs! Which seriously could not have been that hard to do. I know plenty were fixed but it's like they just ran out of money to continue paying one guy to fix the remaining bugs. It captures a lot of the feel of the 2nd Aliens movie (Aliens), which frankly is all I needed to get hooked! But the plot veers off into a very dualistic and simplistic script that would only make it to film if it were a student production with no budget and hack writers. Some of the missions are basically just narrative devices and they're not fun. The rest are fun. I know game cut scenes are usually not that great vs. movies but man, this captured why I hate game cut scenes made with UE4 so much, and then the writing was also awful to boot. The voice acting was OK (if not mediocre) but who knows, with a better script they might have had more to work with. So it's hard to tell. But the tactical gameplay and mild management of the crew was pretty engaging. The whole aliens premise is fun. So it's a mixed bag but fun if you want to skip the cut-scenes. It could really use a long war x-com type mod. It could really use DLC mission expansions, even just using a totally different storyline. I don't think it's going to get those things though. So plan on maybe playing the campaign once or twice (there's a new game + apparently but... if I have to suffer through the storyline again, argh).
