Alien Spidy

Finally overcame the web bug... everytime I shot the web out on Tutorial Level 4, nothing came out as the insect enemy buzzed on by. It turns out I had to turn off 144Hz on my monitor and just use the plain old 60Hz refresh rate. You can find this under Windows -> Display -> Advanced Display settings in Windows 11. And on to playing the game!

Extremely clunky controls which is not very good for a physics based puzzle platformer

The controls and level design need additional tuning before this game can be worthwhile.

Очень необычный и интересный платформер, ничего подобного я в жизни не видел. Не знаю, какие у других комменаторов возникли проблемы с управлением. У меня на клавиатуре с мышкой всё работает отлично. Больше всего радуют быстрые рестарты и частые чекпоинты, благодаря которым можно попытаться пройти каждый сегмент по красоте. Заработать пять звезд это, конечно, не поможет, зато вы сможете насладиться тем, как ваш скилл превращается в грациозные движения паучка.

This has to be one of the worst platformers I have ever played. The controls are "slippery", the jump is non responsive on certain geometry, primarily if you are anywhere near an angle in the terrain. The point system is setup to punish you for exploring or trying anything outside of a specific path. Anytime you need to try again you lose points, the lose is high enough that it will wipe out any gains quickly. The velocity of you spider changes so much that it's hard to get a solid control of him. The levels seem to be designed around going quickly, but have created an environment that does everything it can to punish you for attempting a fast pace. It becomes better to go slower though most levels just so you don't waste you time with repeat attempts. Overall the controls are sloppy, the level design is haphazardly put together, and actively punishes the player for trying to find creative ways around the levels, it's a one way or no way type of design.

Um jogo de plataforma super fofo com uma jogabilidade meio dura porém ainda traz bastante diversão. Visualmente ele é muito bonito e a trilha-sonora é ótima. Vale a pena dar uma chance.

Warning. The game will not work at over 60 FPS. There's no in game setting for this either. You have to manually cap your display to 60 FPS, or the web shooting mechanic wont work. Also, the displayed controls keep swapping between keyboard and xbox? Other than that, it's a decently fun score attack platformer that I got on sale for 80% off.

Ich war anfangs sehr kritisch, aber das spiel hat mich mit der sehr guten grafik und atmosphäre mitgerissen. Ich konnte gar nicht mehr aufhören zu spielen. Los, geht und kauft es!!!
