Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition

First, I bought the Steam VR version, which didn't run very well on my Quest 3. Then I bought the Quest 3 standalone version, which isn't as graphically good, but was great to play. It's hard, scary, and (IMHO) really nails the Aliens vibe. I thought I'd also give this flatscreen version a try since it was on sale for 17 euros. The graphics are way better than the Quest standalone, but in VR—which is hard to explain to people who've never played it—that doesn't really matter. The VR experience is just very good in this game. That said, I also enjoy this flatscreen version. It's all done very well, although, at least on Normal, it is way easier than VR. When you panic in VR trying to reload your shotgun, half the shells fly all over the place, and if you forget to hold the rifle with both hands, you miss everything. Still, it’s well done, so I definitely recommend it if you like Aliens. Edit: I finished the game just under 6 hours. It is a good length and overall a great experience. Hopefully we will see part 2 in the future...

Alien Rogue Incursion is definitely the weakest from the modern Alien games, but it is still a decent and fun game. If you are an Alien fan, I think this is a must buy. I like how it plays completely different to Isolation, Fireteam Elite and Dark Descent. While the graphics look kind of outated (probably because this was originally a VR game), they get the job done thanks to the map design, it feels exactly like Aliens. The story is just kind of there and because this is Part One, a lot of questions are left unanswered, which sucks, the game basically isn't finished and who knows if they will ever make Part Two. Personally, I didn't find the game scary at all (but I bet the original VR version is scarier) and it was also very easy, even on the hardest difficulty. Without tension, there is no reason to ever feel scared. I also didn't like how there was no collectible tracker, there are over hundred of them to find. There also could have been a better weapon variety. Overall, Alien Rogue Incursion doesn't last very long (like a 6 hour game) and it won't blow you away, but it is enjoyable and as an Alien fan, I had fun with it. Considering this is not a full priced game, I can look past some of the issues the game has, there is room for improvement in Part Two though. 7/10

에일리언 시리즈를 좋아하시는 분들에게는 추천함. 하지만 생각보다 단점이 너무 많은거같음. 가격대비해서 플레이 타임이 너무 짧음 온맵을 휘집고 다녀봐도 너무 짧은 플레이 타임 에일리언 움직임이 어설픔 총에맞는 에일리언, 에일리언한테 맞은 나 둘다 서로간에 타격감이 없음. 에일리언 자체의 움직임이 뭔가 어설퍼서 화면상 회피한것 처럼 보였고 맞은 티도 안난것 같지만 HP는 깍여있음

Il gioco non è brutto in assoluto, ma ha vari difetti. Difetti: - problemi di bilanciamento del gioco; la protagonista ha molti limiti di azione: corre pianissimo, il passaggio dal detector di movimento alla mira è lentissimo, in generale tutte le operazioni del PC sono lentissime. Per evitare che diventasse troppo difficile allora gli sviluppatori hanno aggiunto una pausa molto utile nell'attacco degli alien che sono velocissimi a muoversi ma quando sono molto vicini. prima di attaccare aspettano 1~1.5 sec. prima di colpire, rendendo il tutto poco coerente - salvataggio (quasi) solo nelle stanze apposite (panic room) rende il tutto molto frustrante e si possono perdere anche parecchi minuti di gioco. Solo in rari eventi della trama c'è un autosave. - massiccio backtracking - mi sembra che ci sia un respawn infinito dei nemici (temporizzato) - in giro ci sono tanti messaggi da leggere per la lore, ma mentre leggi non c'è pausa, quindi ti può arrivare un alien addosso oppure partire una nuova ondata, quindi non c'è incentivo a leggere e cercare i messaggi. - nessuna progressione del personaggio o dell'arsenale a disposizione Aspetti mediocri: - la storia non è niente di che, con molti aspetti prevedibili e poca originalità complessiva Aspetti positivi: - è una storia ambientata nell'universo di Alien, e per gli appassionati comunque conta. - dal punto di vista tecnico nessun problema: le prestazioni scalano bene secondo le impostazioni, ed è stabile (nessun crash o glitch durante tutta la campagna). In definitiva non un brutto gioco, ma verso la fine mi sono trovato a proseguire principalmente per terminare il gioco, piuttosto che per l'interesse nel proseguimento della storia.

Juegazo!!! El segundo mejor juego de Alíen (para mi). Esperando la parte 2!!!
