Discover the true meaning of fear in Alien: Isolation, a survival horror set in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.29/day in the week to Aug 18 → 16/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; GOG, Epic publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Penso che sia uno dei titoli più ansiogeni e claustrofobici degli ultimi 15 anni ! Lo stò portando in live sia sul mio canale Youtube che su Twitch con non pochi infarti !

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This game made me crap my pants 4 times

Beste spillet.
This game perfectly captures the ambiance, tone, and storytelling of the Alien franchise expertly blending some of the best aspects of the original run. If you like the Alien franchise (especially the original film and its direct sequel) than you should play this game. 10/10
Alien: Isolation is one of the best games I have ever played. After completing Amnesia: The Bunker, I was seeking more out of the stalker AI horror genre. I saw that this game was on sale and very quickly purchased the game. I fully played through the game on Hard in VR with my Quest 3 using Steam Link, and with some modding (tutorials are on youtube, also check out the Flat2VR Modding Discord server), it was an amazing and unforgettable experience. It is singlehandedly the best horror game I have ever played. This game is over a decade old at this point, but it still holds up to this day and serves as a reference for future games. ⚠️STORY AND GAMEPLAY SPOILERS AHEAD, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK⚠️ If you are considering playing this game at any point, don't read ahead. You'll want to play this game. - Gameplay The game will test your courage and decision-making skills. Usually there are multiple ways to complete the objective at hand, and with the amount of tools you have, your options broaden. Use the Noisemaker to distract the Alien and sneak past or remain in hiding until it leaves? Shoot the Android with your revolver or use the Stun Baton and destroy it with your wrench? New enemy types will force you to reevaluate your approach or play differently. Hazmat Androids appear, which are slower but immune to the EMP. Armored Security appear, which will soak gunshots and force you to fight them using non-lethal means. Facehuggers will also appear towards the end of the game, forcing you to fight them quickly or face an instant death. - Atmosphere The game makes you feel very hopeless. Throughout most of the game, you are alone. You meet different survivors throughout the story and eventually reunite with your crew, but you are always alone on your missions.
Eventually, you are the sole survivor out of everyone you have met, so the game really is isolating
. Ripley is a survivor that desperately wants to escape, and eventually, she will. For her to do that however, she has to restore numerous systems on Sevastopol and travel throughout the MASSIVE station that is many miles long and wide. It's a task that is so impossible for just one person, but she is determined. - Sound Design Sound design is really good and immersive. You are always on edge and high alert due to the constant ambience and environment shifts. You have to pay attention, because if you miss something it could mean instant death. The Alien itself makes terrifying sounds; oddly animalistic and natural, but still alien. - Level Design Ripley travels throughout many different sectors of Sevastopol, which are very well thought out, both design-wise and function-wise. There are usually hiding spots you can use, and if there aren't, you must improvise. Later on in the game, I found myself using hiding spots less and less because I could crouch behind a wall or object to hide instead. Of course, you still have to hide in a locker or under a desk occasionally to survive. - Alien AI The Alien is intelligent. It learns how you play and will adjust its actions accordingly.

The Alien knows when you're in an area and will continuously search for you
The Alien will remain still and wait for you to make a sound or begin moving
The Alien will check common hiding spots, especially if you've been hiding for a while
The Alien will investigate any loud sounds. If you fight a human or android, it will HAUL ASS to your position. If you slam your wrench into the wall, the Alien will soon arrive. If you use a Noisemaker, the Alien will IMMEDIATELY investigate it and deactivate it.
The Alien will use the extensive ventilation system to get around quickly. After searching, the Alien retreats to the vents and gives you a sort of "grace period" to move around if it has been forcing you to hide for a while.
You cannot run. If the Alien spots you, you are dead, so you have to use every tool at your disposal. You'll find yourself crouching whenever the Alien is nearby quite a bit as to make the least amount of noise. - Story I think what sold the game for me is the story. Sevastopol is HUGE, and Ripley does eventually escape after traveling throughout the space station over many dreadful hours. The game's ending is very ambiguous, but it leads me to believe that she was picked up or found by a ship and saved. Ripley almost dies on MANY occasions, and on other occasions her survival ends up being due to PURE LUCK. For instance, the whole story could have ended when she first encountered the Alien, but the Alien simply didn't see her. She could have died to the hundreds of aggressive androids roaming the space station, but she would fight them off and survive. In Medical, when the Alien catches you off guard, Ripley is saved by the nearby explosion. Even when one of the Aliens found her and dragged her into the ventilation system, she was merely put into a nest. It really makes you think: Would you, in Ripley's shoes, survive? We are able to save our game, but if we were put into her shoes, we'd probably not make it as far as she did. Ripley has to watch as everyone around her slowly dies, and it's pretty sad, but she moves forward no matter what because she is super brave. There are a few plot twists, and as you read the terminals you uncover more lore about the station and its inhabitants. I tried to collect as many logs as I could find but there will always be more. - My Experience The hardest part of the game for me was Medical, which is pretty early on. The Alien will constantly hunt you and doesn't spend much time in the vents, and with less tools at your disposal, it's a lot harder to confront the Alien. Although I used some tools more than others, I did end up using every tool at least once. It took me about 18 hours to fully complete the game on Hard (reminder I played it in VR so naturally I was a bit slower than other players). I loved the game and I recommend it to anyone daring enough to beat it. Looking forward to the sequel.
