A meh, unmemorable point and click game.
Alexia Crow is a simple puzzle/adventure point and click game. You fall into a cave and must negotiate the cave by stepping from puzzle to puzzle. Resolution is fixed and quite low for a 2015 game. Unfortunately the game crashes when going through the intro so it was unplayable for me. Those glaring deficiencies prevent me from recommending this.
It's a really bare-bones point-and-click game. Everything feels sorta phoned in, up to and including some really hammy, poorly delivered voice lines. I quickly muted the whole game. Apparently this was once a flash game and it shows. The resolution looks stretched and there are little configuration options to be found. It's incredibly short and while the puzzles are somewhat interesting, the game just feels really slap-dash put together. The story is weird and bad to boot. You can get a lot better and a lot more games of this genre than the 6$ they want for the game as of the time of this review Frustratingly, I ran into a game-breaking bug 80% through the game that stuck me without an item to progress, so I had to completely restart.
Hidden items, puzzles and clicking. Short 2 hour game, easy achieves.
While this has the style of point-and-click games, this title focuses heavily on puzzle solving, without many exploration elements. The graphics are muddy, the interface a bit buggy and the game is too short. The biggest pro this game has is the puzzle variety, even for its genre. But in the end, I can’t recommend it for 2 main reasons: First, the game has 3 chapters, but only 2 are included here. Secondly, and more importantly, you can play the entire game for free on your browser! Sure, the Steam version is a bit better, but why pay for an incomplete game when you can play the complete version for free? You be the judge.
Whilst the game is a good click-and-point adventure, there's a few negatives: -bugs- I've suffered a few issues with the game, either graphical or crashes. -gameplay- Some inventory items didn't display correctly, and some elements of the UI were also a bit picky about where I clicked, where others were quite loose. -lack of chapter 3- Despite assurances, a combined lack of updates to the game or forums seem to indicate the developer has abandoned the game - which is a shame considering it's online already.
It's not a good game. But if you still really want to finish it and getting stuck on a starting screen - it's a technical problem with high resolutions. The only thing that helped in my case is forcing game to run in 640*480. Open game folder than open .exe file Properties. It's in one of the tabs.
Not my cup of tea
not a challenging hidden puzzle/point and click adventure game but ez acheivements
