Spoko gierka.
I need more of it!
One of my favorite game to play on pc and ps
A small and very charming game. The alchemy system is very nice - it's a sandboxy game, not very hard overall, that gives you a pretty broad selection of ways to solve problems with magic, and quite a few ways to make each individual potion aswell. The total amount of potions in the game is also nothing to scoff at, and there's a very nice sense of progression as you explore to find new ingredients, recipies, and other niceities. The downsides are mainly in the game's lack of polish. You can feel it's very much an indie game and rough around the edges with several bugs and clunky mechanics, but I haven't run into anything major and there's enough ways to break things in your favor intentionally once you figure out what you're doing that it bothered me in paticular. It's very cozy and colorful, including in its mechanics.
Sim eu vi o gato, e ele é realmente incrível
I'll be honest, if this game had just one or two of the following things I'm going to say, I'd probably love it - I love when things are mildly jank or overtuned. But all of them together...I just couldn't do. - I appreciate that there's some work that goes into the actual potion crafting. That said...it's very ...obtuse about how to do it. The tutorial tells you things without explaining why (which I'm kind of glad for, trying to decipher what it meant without it giving me an explanation was often hard enough, since it would just assume I'd instantly remember any keys mentioned). Which token means heal? Great. Go pick this flower. Wait, this flower doesn't mean heal, it means grow. That's okay, grind it in this. I even like the little cauldron mini game where you have to draw symbols. Until you have to draw more complex sigils...which it doesn't recognize 75% of the time...also it starts showing multiples at once some of which are so faded they just blend into the background...good luck! Fine concept. Annoying in practice. - The character art felt very Morrowind in a way that I can't quite articulate, but in a way that was more uncanny valley than Morrowind which ALSO says something. Again, this isn't necessarily a bad thing, I like many games with bad graphics. It just hit the wrong Vibe™ for me. - The writing reads like one of those ads you see on TikTok where some robot voice is reading what's supposed to be a weird romance novel to you which is really poorly written. I think this is because it was translated. And look, I'm lured in by those romance novels. I tend to read them start to finish. This is not something that would normally turn me away from a game - it was just the pile up. But the most grievous sin - the one that had me turning off the game in under an hour - was the narrator. The narrator is obnoxious. And clearly in an effort to make the narrator funny they had him say Fun Quips whenever you do something, except these are....memey and poorly placed? For an early example: first potion you make is a healing potion for yourself. Then you need to make one for your dog. (Keep in mind that you are a goat/cat/pig or fox person, but your dog is just a Dog.) When you give the potion to your dog to heal, the narrator says "AND THEY WERE ROOMMATES!" One, I don't want you implying what you're implying with me and my dog - but also...what? This is like someone who tells you the punchline of a joke they never actually said in the first place, but still expects you to laugh. Anyway, again - I can see in another life, where only one or two of these things were problematic, me sticking with it. As it is, I can't recommend it, and I also can't play it - but also I"m glad the developor made it and hope they learn and make more in the long term.
One of the best alchemist simulators to date! AND I LOVE DE WITTLE PETS!!
I really enjoyed this game. Nice balance of potion crafting, problem solving, combat, and even some platforming. These are all things I enjoy, and the combination has been my favorite for this type of game so far. It's exactly the kind of game I want play! I think the most fair and unbiased thing I can say, is that there are some great foundations, but a noticeable lack of polish. One save file glitched out after losing internet, and all alchemy stations were removed with no way to buy them back. The other made a late game option and achievement impossible. Little bugs and wonky movements are speckled here and there, and the overall graphics could have been easier on the eyes. Inventory was a little irritating to balance between potions and ingredients, and movement was a little slow if you didn't pick a cat. All that said, I loved the crafting interface! Giving the player so many options and tools to create what you needed using the Aspect Table was, in my opinion, the most unique and interesting part of the game. Finding clever ways to make more complex potions with ingredients you have an excess of was really fun! The selection of potions was also a real treat! When I play a game with potions, I see them as a physical embodiment of magic or superpowers, but most games lean towards subtle improvements... not the case here. Lots of abilities and effects to discover! With a little more polish, "quality of life" adjustments, and some more content, this game could have been legitimately one of my favorites. Thanks to the developer for this. It honestly inspires me to make a game of my own, to see if other parts of games I love could get the same level of attention that you have given! Well done!!
