Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

it's one of the harder recent llamasoft games to get into but I also think it's one of the most rewarding once it clicks
This is a remake of an old 80s Atari prototype game that sadly never got released (but it's now included and playable in Atari 50th Anniversary Collection), shake it never got released because I give it high marks for innovative gameplay. Imagine Defender & Missile Command having a child with other random shooter elements mixed in. It's unique because there are muktiple levels of gameplay that keep you bouncing between levels to rack up highs cores while also defending the pods that you need to keep to stay alive. And apparently the developers of this one are golfers because there are numerous references to golf scoring... As this is a Llamasoft remake, if you've played Tempest 4000 there is a heavy emphasis on 3D/psychedelic/neon graphics effects-of you're photosensitive or epilectic be warned because this game could trigger seizures (there is an option to subdue the effects but it's really not enough). They also add a lot of music/voice effects that is both unusual and rewarding when you figure out how to get really high scores. It takes a game or two to get the feel of the controls (simple but they are customizable) and gameplay but once you get into it, having to switch between two levels keeps you on your toes. While this is a good remake and fun to play, you might want to get Atari 50th Anniversary Collection and try the prototype first but it's not mandatory. I wish there were more options to tone down the graphics/3D/vector effects even further to make it easier on my eyes and senses but this is still worth picking up on a sale for the unique gameplay and what could have been if Atari had released this in arcades.

This game is more of an experience that I expected, and I like it. I think, because of the mix of both intense and calm / kaledioscopic elements, it induces a flow state particularly easily. 100% recommended for anyone who wants to drop into a psychedelic experience.
There is a bit of a learning curve but once you figure out how to play it, it's an amazing experience. I highly recommend using a mouse for this one.
