Lemmings but in place of the green haired dumb-dumbs you have to guide ghibli-esque nature spirits. If you like Lemmings you will like this, thats pretty much it.

The excitement of the game truly unfolds in its later stages. Initially, it was rather unremarkable, but as you progress, it becomes increasingly captivating. I connected to my dead grandma through this game. She is chillin up there and doesn't remember me who I am.

Spirits could have been a noteworthy Lemmings spiritual successor, but unfortunately the physics engine is wonky and unreliable. That adds some unpredictability to your plans, (e.g. the flow of air seems to affect your spirits differently at times, despite all of them having the same speed and momentum). Arm yourselves with a lot of patience , even more so if you're attempting perfect runs. It's not a bad game by any means, but you can find better puzzle games on Steam.

A very average game. Yet it's a Lemmings-like game and the graphics are cute... The gameplay seems simple on the surface: get spirits to the swirl. They move forward automatically, and you only have four possible transformations: dig, grow a branch, blow wind, or turn into a ball that blocks the wind. Add to this a secondary objective: lighting up plants, by walking near them or dropping a light projectile from above. Simple? No, behind all this lies a deeply sadistic game: The wind physics are often unpredictable, especially since multiple air currents frequently mix together. And spirits following one another might react differently within the same currents. Add to that the transformations into balls that get stuck or bounce in equally unpredictable ways. The game sometimes requires some thought, but even when the solution was obvious, I often found myself retrying the same sections over and over again. A rewind button might have slightly improved the gameplay experience. I can barely recommend it, Spirits is aimed primarily at masochists who enjoy a difficulty that shows no respect for the player.

The game has poor graphics, unresponsive controls, and a dull gameplay experience that makes it hard to enjoy.
