About
Your fleet was betrayed and your airship barely escaped destruction. Now fight your way past waves of pirates, cultists, and sky monsters. Destroy your foes, harvest wreckage, upgrade your ship, and find your way to safety.
Engage enemies with different attack patterns and abilities. Fight massive boss monsters that require cunning and firepower to defeat.
Pick the slow but powerful Battleship, the nimble Copter, or the Science Vessel with its railgun and energy shield. Build a strategy around their strengths and weaknesses. Don't feel the need to ever stop? The Megaplane will suit you. Want to build a mighty fleet? Start with the Flagship.
Choose where your fleet goes on its journey. Different destinations have pros and cons in terms of what enemies you fight, the rewards you get, the available upgrades, and your relationships with local factions. For example, you can befriend cultists, gaining their Worm Blessings and their aid in future battles.
Equip your ship with cannons, rockets, aerial torpedoes, mines, gatling guns, and more. Strengthen it with modules like ammo elevators, guard barracks, command posts. Host strange temples.
Improve your ship with training for your crew, more armor plating, or senior officers. Pick a doctrine to gain its advantages: terrify your enemies, dodge incoming attacks, make your money through trade. Find powerful combinations that lay waste to your enemies.
Unlock captains for your ship that give you powerful advantages and disadvantages and change the rules of your game.
Temples and monoliths as well as more familiar ports float in the skies, changing the game rules in parts of the map. Disadvantage your enemies and boost your abilities with careful positioning.

Awesome game, love the art, and love the gameplay loop. Repetitive? Very. Highly rewarding? Yes. All airships have different forms of movement, so you have to adjust to this alongside creating a build that mitigates weaknesses and maximizes strengths. Captains also shift this into different builds. I like that you have to make calculated decisions when picking a path too. Is money more useful to you, or scrap, or the reputation for rewards, or maybe unlocking stuff by murdering flying jelly fish? It's very good, and a great example of READABILITY in visuals. I can see what's happening at all times, and it's very pretty overall with its minimalistic, steampunk design. Just overall a great game. I give most games a thumbs up but this one gets a real thumbs up, like double ice cream thumbs up with a sprinkle of chocolate.
Hmm.. simple bullet hell with a little spin on combat, Feels a little like Multi-Turret Academy. I got it on discount but this is a 3.5/5 IMO have not played with all the ships or captains so i cant yet rate higher. Will update when i get around to more game play.
I like it. Vampire Survivor-like with lots of guns, bombs, missiles, magic missiles, etc... There is a book full of secret pages that acts as the achievements list for unlocking more ships, captains, and gear. Lots of fun deciphering new pages to find more pages, discovering the last piece of a puzzle spread across four older pages,... It's a great way to get players interested in the lore too. Very clever and versatile feature. The variety of ships is very satisfying. From weapon/gear slots, starting equipment, stats and unique features, the game makes most ships feel special. Hell, even movement is different between them; Some use the typical survivor-like up,down, left, right navigation, others use a forward, turn left/right, some can't stop, a few have extra special elements thrown in, it's a lot of fun. It's been a while since I've enjoyed steampunk but this definitely tapped into some old cog-brain stuff. And, even as a basic BulletHeaven, it's easy to pick up. Would recommend. A few Cons: -it'd be nice to be able to save mid run. Some of us have limited/fragmented/unreliable gaming time in our lives. Even just a 'save & quit' would be enough to meet basic accessibility standards here. -Some stats aren't easy to understand. Once you get it, their wording makes technical sense, but it feels like awkward translation. Like, your rate of fire is determined by your reload speed. Sure, that makes sense, but it's not how I'd have worded it and I doubt most devs would disagree with me. Also, repeat ship upgrade cost, huh? I know what it means now and, I say with confidence, this is a terrible name for a stat in a game that contains upgradable: weapons, npc companions, Slotted equipment, and neat stat boosts. -Some will likely disagree with this, but you can skip earning an unlock by "researching" (click the challenge then wait for realtime hours/days). I don't like this. If a player CBF doing the challenge then they'll just look it up online. You don't have to give us a '"technically you're not cheating"' mechanic to skip stuff.
i like this game a lot, I like the worldbuilding a lot, I like the little hidden puzzles in the journal. Which also connect to the worldbuilding. It's fun and smooth to play. The different ships and captains offer a lot of variety.
Airships with giant saws on them, what more needs to be said.
10/10
Отличный рогалик, погружение в сеттинг чувствуется, с шифров в кодексе вообще забалдел
Get OP or DIE I played only the hardest difficulty to research what starter combinations is good enough to conquer Bosses. But you can turn on round restart (otherwise the whole run gets destroyed) so you can test different tactics and have some crazy clutches, losing doesn´t feel so bad until it is clearly impossible with your decisions before. RNG is maybe a problem but you can plan a route for best equipment/sale/free upgrade. So don´t be a noob and try harder xD
